Can I use Lycamobile SIM card I bought in the UK in Poland?

I've just got a quick question...

I have bought a Lycamobile SIM card which was bought in the UK. I was wondering whether I am able to use this sim card to make calls in Poland, to another Polish mobile phone (assuming I have credit). My phone is unlocked. I have no idea how a Lycamobile SIM works, and I need to get in touch with a contact in Poland whilst in Poland.

Better to buy a sim in Poland, they are cheap and you can get them anywhere. Lycamobile is useless.
