UPC phone line in Poland

Was wondering if any UPC subscibers have experienced the same lately. I cant seem to get CNN anymore and a few other channels. I noticed the change sometime late last year. Is there anyone who has an idea as to whats happening before i change the provider?

Hi there

I have just moved to beautiful Gdansk and we have a landline with UPC. Has anyone an idea how to withhold the number when calling? I need to do that for certain business calls.

Would be grateful for any reply.

Merged: Setting Up Your UPC Remote To Work On Your TV

Hi all, I have noticed there are TV options on my UPC remote which would suggest that I can put away my TV remote and control it all with one remote. However I have had a google and can't find a way to do that. Does anyone know how I could set this up?

1. press TV
2. press both OK and RED for a while
3. enter four digit code (you got 20 sec)

4. press STANDBY to check if tv react to command

if not, repeat procedure with another tv code.
if the last code doesn't work you are out of luck and have to change tv brand ;)

I just managed to set it up although my remote was slightly different to the one in the instruction manual linked. With mine I had to hold down OK and Wyjdz until the light came on and then press TV Kanal up until my TV went off, then TV to turn the TV back on then OK to save. Very simple and now I only have one remote lying about :)

If you need to withhold your number for just certain occasions simply dial the code * 77 * before some call - it's one-time service.
To make it permanent - login to "my UPC" online and change the setting - here is instruction how-to:
