rather standing knee deep in its own feces penned up in a factory farm stall while being fed antibiotics

Sadly, that is the situation for millions of dairy cows.
Beef cattle are sold as calves to feedlots.

Actually in the First World if it's meat it probably wasn't skipping around a field, but rather standing knee deep in its own feces penned up in a factory farm stall while being fed antibiotics so that is won't get too sick before it's fat enough to slaughter.

The option is to pay top dollar for organic meat. Possible, but is it worth the premium?

Where they stand upon grassless manure strewn dirt and eat grain from a trought rather than frolic in a pastoral setting.

eating carp for Christmas

some of these carp , ended up in the dirty baths of the poles, swimming around in the filthy water with the pubic hairs of the poles.

but Not only that all the polacks in england are stealing the carp from the waters because they cant be arsed to get a job and buy fish from the local supermarket

Another option is to forgo eating meat altogether. One can get enough nutrition without having to raise animals for slaughter. Those that would object by saying that they need their meat are analogous to the baby being weaned who cries for the teat. It's time for the human race to grow up and abandon not only the sale of live carp but other shameful dietary practices as well.

So?

The point of eating is nutrition so why not acheive it without dirty and disgusting brutality?

I'm not happy with a lot of modern practices regarding meat, but

dirty and disgusting brutality

is hyperbole. Humane slaughter is a quicker, less painful death than most animals get in the wild and you're spitting on thousands of years of your ancestors who made it possible for you to be so preachy and self-righteous.

Ah tradition hallowed be thy name, but may one still "spit" upon slavery, serfdom, blood sacrifice, witch trials, and infanticide?

One may!

Meat eating is hardly in the same category as your list unless you accord a cow or pig's life as much value as a human being's.

And let's make this more personal (always safe!) what about your parents? Are they guilty of 'dirty and disgusting brutality'? Your grandparents?

Americans endure carp like they do soccer, it's simply not there. Yet, the rest of the world endures it. Polish have been eating carp since Christmas existed. BC? Let them kill off fish and eat them happily during the holidays! If you think live fish killed in this manner is cruel, then I guess people eating potentially bad food isn't? Live fish is "best", dead fish are risky. At least in the realm of fresh water fish they are! Ocean fish have to be dead, unless you have a tub full of ocean water at 78 degrees.
