It's almost the same thing ;-P

"Almost nonexistent" = there are maybe several.
In the scale of a country that equals "don't exist".

Ok, you convinced me. :):):)

BTW, earlier on you wrote there was only one hostel in Szczecin; I found three without really looking:

No, it wasn`t me. I hate Szczecin.

Actually i met him during the 5th Krakow birthday and the Krakow branch was doing excellent.

As I mentioned you should speak to Nathan about his problems operating Hostels in Poland. It is not my place to discuss other people's business experience on a public forum.

How are these hostels? They are cheap hotels.

The closest is: ptsm.home.pl/index.php?newlang=eng

Seems like our definition of hostels differs a lot.

Your definition of hostel is so narrow that you could hardly fit anything into it.
For me, a hostel is anything from a typical "Schronisko młodzieżowe" (usually simply a dormitory attached to a school or other institution) to the high-end types of hostels as above. Anything with bedrooms for 4-6 people, communal bathrooms, and a kitchen is NOT a hotel in my vocabulary.

Nope, hostels are about meeting people.

haha, why yes.....and they just so happen to be the cheapest place to stay available.

It's like saddling a cow . . . you try and try but why bother? : )

not like me to interfere but to be honest, isn't that a bit unnecessarily critical?
I was interested in hearing some of the things posted here and would like to know that things aren't over there like deli-style sandwich orders and the like. It is a good business opportunity if it doesn't exist. Like all of a sudden people need to be concerned about government workers in Poland or they don't have a valid point that meets your approval? Kind of condescending, don't you think?

Im sure i never said otherwise, but i have no time to find where you ripped it out of context.
