Question about obnoxious drunks in some cities of Poland

Can anything be done about it? Every summer on the corner across from my flat a group of unemployed, loud and obnoxious drunks set up in front of an empty store and scream all day long - everyday.

During the day I've seen the cops on foot-patrol tell them to hide their beers better. At night when they're being a public nuisance the cops come, check their ID's and usually make them leave, but they always come back.

This is in a nice area of a big Polish city as well. I've seen them start fights, **** in public, scream obscenities and nobody seems to care. I just don't get it. Any thoughts?

Nobody wants the trouble involved with doing anything about it. You could try just calling the police each and every time that there is a problem but that does risk the police deciding that you are the problem. It might be an idea to go round your neighbours and try to agree with them a schedule for you all to call the police: if there are ten of you and you all call once ever three days, that will mean the police are getting multiple calls each and every day and thus might do something about the problem.

Soccer teams from Euro 2012 were staying just down the road from where these guys are and the apartments in the area immediate across from where these jackasses are set up are selling for around 6500 Zlotys/m. But on the other hand the area I live in is Very dense so of course there are also cheaper buildings very close by.

The problem is that I'm not talking about 3-4 of your old typical drunkars. It's a larger group of younger guys (in their 20-30's) who come and go but there are always just a few hanging around. The corner is their meeting place and it blows.

it will only get worse now that we have warm weather. or on the other hand, they may go and take up residence in a local park.

sooner or later enough people will complain and the police will eventually do something about it.

How old are they?

It explains how playing classical music often stops people from loitering

If this fails. Go to your local nightclub, speak with the Main bouncer, explain your problem and offer him a one off payment of 1000zl to clean the area. However..... if you choose this route tread carefully and select your cleaner wisely.

I figured as much. Either that or people are simply used to it, but I really doubt it. They're directly below an old grandmother and I've seen her staring at them when they're swearing loudly right below her balcony looking exasperated since this has been going on for so long. But even she doesn't call the cops or tell them off.

I thought about sabotaging their space, like hiding something that would smell really bad but unfortunately it would also punish the people living around there so I gave up on that. Talking to the neighbors will definitely be my next step.

Mormon missionaries have a similar effect.

Play classical music from Grandma's balcony.

Wasn't that the conclusion of the 90's movie Mars Attacks?

Mormon missionaries have a similar effect.

But they can be even more stubborn than the drunks if you're not careful.

Hmmm... Across the street so pepper spray spritzed furtuively wont send em off. Lobbing flaming bags of ******* will eventually trace to you.

No high threat options.

Call me trolly but I'd either "join them" (as a guy) and talk about how sexy I find them and how glad I was I finally came to say hello. Even if one does swing both ways he cant admit it in front of this sort of drunk. Subtle though so they get all squeamish.

Or I'd hire non-descript teen punk to hit and run douse them with a sweet woman's perfume so the wives can stab them at home.

also find a friend with long hair of a unusual color to leave hair aound that area as part of same plan.

I guarantee a wife doing laundry will barely notice her everyday man's smell with eu de la drunk...but damn she'll notice that one red hair and the smell of someone else's perfume ^_^ I get my friends in trouble all the time for shedding in their cars or on their coats if the Mrs has't met me yet.

Heck even if only one gets stabbed .. the rest wil be nervous when they keep getting perfume bombed

:::: there is always the mormon option

I know, rent the empty shop they drink outside. Then you can sell them alcohol, that way you have a win win situation.
Because eventually you'll earn enough money from their alcoholism to move.

The comments are good too. I always admire people who dont give up or end up bums or alcoholics or in prison for assaults as a result.

Whats funny is here in Warsaw within a week i saw a bum dude show his penis to tourists i chased away but didnt know how to react to the situation as when i called cops they didn't seem to care because they asked if he still was doing it or calmed down and a bum sleeping with his dick out of his pants near centrum near Marriott on a bench.

whats funny is the people don't seem to care about that but they will bully and harass drunk old men ho talk loud or gain up on them with other half bums as i witnessed yesterday some guy being slapped near Zlota street and behind tj max on the benches with them callings security to drunk tank and getting away with assaulting him.

in regards to the guy who i called cops on and chased away i didn't really chase him just showed him and told him i don't want to see his dick but he was constantly walking after that and i couldn't pinpoint his location to cops nor did they care. he wasn't an old bum just a zhulik in maybe his 30s and he was drunk and touching or trying to interact with a bunch of people after that as i followed him but had too much expensive **** on me and bag to get my hands dirty plus i didn't want to be arrested myself (who knows how the laws here are as they don't care about a guy showing his dick and they don't have a personal space rule for assault and in fact the laws here apparently say a fight between two people or bujka is more punishable than assault).
