Is Lady Gaga popular in Poland?

Does the nauseating Lady Zgaga have a fan base in Poland? The thing about cheap and tacky popculture is that just when you think there could be nothing worse than the gap-toothed slut Madumma, a Lady Zgaga comes along and proves you wrong. It's like Michigan weather -- if you don't like it, just wait five mintues.

nothing worse than the gap-toothed slut Madumma, ..... if you don't like it, just wait five mintues.

If you don't like that sort of music, you should stop buying her records.

Personally I can name 2 or 3 songs by Madonna and recognise the sound of a couple more - as for Lady Gaga, I understand she's an American singer who wore a dress made of meat as a pulicity stunt, but that's about it. Both of those singers oeuvres are easy to ignore - just go to bars that play classier music.

@Pol3, if you don't like popculture, just ignore it and don't get so worked up about it that you post bitter and frankly embarassing rants about it on the internet.

I only like the new wave of pop stars. Katy Perry is popular despite having no musical talent whatsoever (I once saw her live concert on TV - I think even I can sing better LOL), Gaga got popular despite being just fugly etc. It's completely different from the plastic dolls of yesteryear carefully chosen and promoted by musical corporations.

Let me guess Homophobius3, she came out with that last music video "Judas" and it struck a nerve.

lady gaga has just won an eska award. that would mean she is popular. she was almost wearing an interesting choice of attire too.

Both Lady Gaga and Doda are not my kind of music. Madonna has a few songs I appreciate. Give me Diana Krall and Norah Jones anytime. But hey, you can always tune to something else, right?

Only a namiotist fascist could start such a thread.

How many concerts has she had in Poland? Just that one where she brokedown in tears for the "trendy counterparts" ... that was a disaster.

(I am not knowledgable about music things at all.)

What is this Lady Gaga? I heard her name first time a few months ago in his story of arrested American soldier who recorded data into Lady Gaga cd before data transferring to Wikileaks.

Didn't understand much. So, she is something like Cleopatra of our 21th century? Or, another tecno-feminist?

I fully agree with you here, she sucks really bad and I wouldn't even call it music to begin with. It's just as bad as techno, rap and hip hop.

Ha, ha, ha... Justin Lumberjack has joined the show with Lady Zgaga. Now all we need is a Christina Agislutta for an unbeatable threesome!

Okay.. (shouldn't have asked people here anything - while there is Wiki thing.)

Ok, it is written there why her CD was used for data recording by that soldier arrested now. She supported the campaign about DADT, "don't ask - don't tell", about LGBT in USA army. It is written she says she is bi in her interviews. But, looking at her story, she is probably not a bi, but, just using LGBT community to make fame and business. If this is known by LGBT community, then, it is a mutual business. I don't think she is a feminist at all. Watched the clip given by Wroclaw above and first parts of the clip reminded me of arts of an American feminist painter hannahwilke.com whose parents were immigrants from Poland. Maybe, Lady Gaga was inspired by her works, who knows.

All i know is that the noise industry has only one goal: to fleece the gullible suckers who go to concerts, buy CDs, download the music, buy all the gadgets, etc., etc. And it keeps bloating and expanding thanks to the poor fools who don't realise that it's really only all about ₤₤₤ €€€ $$$ zł zł zł….!
