Nickidewbear,Too much speculation and I go with my instincts and my instincts tell me it's for reasons other than persecution.

I see your point. Sadly (and I'm not saying that this is Javed's angle), he could using the old Mohamedan principle of lying to advance his faith. By the way, I will never call a Mohamedan a "Muslim" (submitter) or Mohamedism "Islam" (submission) if I can help it.

I stated that I didn't know whether that was your case. I trust that you're reasonably trying to escape India from persecution against Christians. I can only--if I even can--imagine what Christians in India experience.

If you want to convert to Catholicism, you need to see a priest about RCIA(Rites of Christian Initiation Activities) You will need to do them before confirmation at Easter mass.

although as a Christian Evangelical Reverend from the North of Ireland I am just a little bias!

Hi wednesday
Could you be more specific? Northern Ireland has a wide range of choices so I must admit I'm curious.

Hi cjj

I am a Reverend Minister I work of an Evangelical Church as a counsellor. I was previously based in Southern Europe however for the past three and half years I have been based in Poland. I counsel British expat and help them anyway I can, both practically and of course spiritually. I am part of the 'New Christian Ministry' born from the very active protestant movement in Belfast.

We have Churches in Szczecin, Lodz and Krakow.

Let me ask you a question and thought it would please. Does being a Christian is belonging to an institution that wins the money? I myself am a Christian and I think that Jesus [Yeshua] is saving and not another stupid religion feeds on human misery ... Thank you.

Christianity is a religion that stresses the importance of being part of a community and acting together for the common good.

OK she cant live in India and its her decision that we can live in Poland but for that her family want me to convert - that's the only sole reason for this conversion . FYI if i want immigration to EU countries i can get that by other way maybe in easy terms.

and my family is against it . So probably you might get it now why not in India ?

If you don't speak Polish, there's a few churches in Poland that perform masses in English. Not sure of the details, but it might be worth looking into.

There are between 24 and 27 million Christians in India including the head of the ruling political party, the Minister of Defence and many other public figures.

So again, why do not convert in the Philippines, so much closer to home. But then again, no hope for any backdoor to the EU....

Hi Wednesday, thanks for replying.
Which Evangelical Church in particular?
I'm from the Northern Ireland Protestant community myself, so my request is for a specific name -- I will understand your answer.

Walk away from all religions. They are nothing but a means to control people, amass wealth and power and to provide a crutch for the weak-willed.

There needs to be only one item of faith - do no harm to anyone - same applies for law.

meer khan ,in which country are you ? and why do you want to convert to christianity ? I know that muslims don't tolerate and will actually kill you (literally )

the prophet said "من بَدّل دينه فاقتلوه " = kill who changed his religion (islam)

and why do you want to convert to christianity

He doesn't. He has the illusion this "conversion" will earn him a residence and work permit for Poland, and hence for the EU.
