IS Poland in danger of becoming the next multi cultural sink hole?

how many of those do you have in Poland?

I do not have anything in Poland. ;) I even was unable to bring polish coins for my collection last time - paid by card everywhere and never had polish cash in my hands. ;)

But we do have lots of them in Moscow. And many people is really annoyed.

what would you say about Poles going to live in the UK? is it enrichment or contamination?

Ask Britons about this.

ok, let me ask you about Russians in the UK then. Are they welcome there? Is their culture treated as equal by the locals?

@ velund

You know what's weird I've met a lot of Russians in the US and every single one of them said that they were from Moscow. You guys need to be more original. (it's an inside joke that I'm sure you get it velund)

Got it. ;)

But I'm really born near Arbat and grown on Volkhonka street, with windows looking to Borovitskaya tower of Kremlin (second building right to Big Stone Bridge if look from Lenin's Library side). Later we moved to southwest of city (Kaluzhskaya metro stn), and then to suburbs, looking for more living space, cleaner air and less crowds. ;)

So, I don't need to be more original. ;)

Cannot say anything about UK as I never been there in person. One of my former neighbours worked there for year or so as a construction worker, and had almost no problems with locals (but there was conflicts with some guy of indian descent that tried to show their superiority to every immigrant just because he was born there).

Can poland maintain its identity now the western european trash can cross its borders when ever it feels like? Will white become shite ?

Poland has always been a melting pot, anyway, so, I doubt it.

so true, but that is unusual even in Canada in a sense that other cites are less multicultural.

I am a former Torontonian and I loved the feeling. Travel to Hamilton, or Oshawa and it becomes fairly white.

It only became homogenous after WWII. Poland does have a tradition of being home to many people because of the Golden Freedoms. People all over Europe who were persecuted came to Poland because it was a tolerant country. French Huguenots, Jewish peoples and many others. There were those who came because of special skills that were needed, too. It was a mixed blessing for Poland and for those who came. But who could have known the future.

My own family roots are completely from Poland, yet I am only half Polish at most.

One thing that USA has is freedom of speech.

bullsh1t...Surveillance is the word I would use..
The guy I called a nazi deserves this title because of what he is saying.

So if foreigners, when they come to Poland, "contaminate" the Polish culture, does it mean that Polish people going to live abroad "contaminate" the British culture, or the Irish culture, the French culture or whatever other culture?

they are just talking sh1te....In the 1930's these guy would be crying with tears of joy at Hitler rallies

and?

in the first link, the author brings up some statistics and concludes that the evidence is inconclusive.

the second link, it's called the "thug report". of course all the "thugs" are going to be black. blacks wouldn't even call a white guy a "thug", that word is tightly knit into black culture.

Poland is going forward america and the uk are going backwards it wont take long to catch up and when you say skilled the polish people are skilled and have a very high level of education and skills and the youth have a work ethic they want to work. The Uk and US are not rich countrys when you take the debts away everyone knows they are bankrupt. Poland will prosper and learn that putting all the world needy on the taxpayers back will be i no no (Polska Polska Uber Allies.)

Surely when so many wish to leave Poland, to come to Western Europe there must be an aspiration for that culture?
I think many people in the UK would be happy to see Poland prosper and be a more attractive place for Poles to work ;-) maybe the tables turn and there would be a British invasion! Like UK builders going to Germany in the 1980s.

Is it the culture or is it the job?

The south east asians i shared a flat with in krakow had a different tactic, they done their best to groom Polish/German or any other EU lassies until they agreed to get married. One guy who stayed at my flat was married to a German lass, but also with this could move his whole family to Germany. I got fed up with the guests of my flat so had them move out, but it goes on still and a lot easier than you think.

Unless Poland creates more global businesses, MC won't become a reality. There are some Japanese and Portuguese here due to the economic zones but, asides from them, foreigners don't tend to be seen around these parts.

I no doubt know USA does sensor A LOT. There are many things you can not say.
I was just refering it compared to Canada. If you dont like Jews here or think they are powerful = arrest.

We almost live in police states (not the meaning of the dictionary but close enough).
