Children's pocket money rate in Poland.

Just a quick voxpop guys.

What would a sensible amount of pocket money per week for a six year old girl be in Poland?

Obviously, it's a how long is a piece of string kind of question.

I just want to install the concept of money but equally not to raise a spoilt princess that's all.

Maybe I am a niggard, but 20PLN a week for six years old kid is enough.

thats a bit cheap? I give 20 zloty per week also and some of my kids friends get MORE!

That seems far too much to me, this is a 6 year old child! What is a child that age going to be spending that amount on?

I'm in the UK, but that works out at about £4 a week. No way would I consider giving a child that young that amount of money.

I dont even give my 15 year olds a regular amount like that - lol

With our two the 14 year old gets 600 Z;s per month and the 18 year old gets 1,000 Z;s.

It's been a while, but I used to get £5 a week, but only on the condition that I did my share of housework around the house. Looking back on it, I probably spent about 5 hours a week doing dishes and other cleaning for £5...I should have started a union with my brother and gone on strike for more.

There must be a proper amount if you want to teach your kids about money, my kids save some (for a specific item), give some to charity and spend some. I am going to strt doing monthly instead shortly. Monthly is easier!

two ways come to my mind

1) 10zł notes only. She won't swallow it.
2) 9zł (coins only and this little pig) to teach her about saving money ;)
