I was shown some today by my wife's dad and he was explaining a significance that most Brits just wouldn't think about.I remember checking out an apartment which had a huge balcony for grilling but it was overly communal. Another flat I looked at didn't even have enough room to smoke. The place I bought doesn't have one but it doesn't bother me too much as comfortable furniture will be inside :)
