Only parent - renewing Polish passport without consent from the father?

I'm a child currently at the age of 16. My passport is to run out soon. I live in the UK with a single mother with no contact with my father. We are wondering if it is possible for me to be able to get my polish passport renewed without an consent from the father

Yes you can renew your passport without your fathers consent but you cannot travel internationally without his consent until you are 18.I assume that law don't apply when you are in the EU.

Just checked up on this. Yes, you need your parents consent before the age of 18.
