I'm a Non EU foreign student staying in Poland with visa, been here for a year, If someone sends me like 3000$ as a gift from different country (Not Poland), do i have to pay taxes for it?

In theory you can receive from your family (mum, dad) up to 9637 zł during 5 years and half of that from non relative.

It's not from a family member, it was sent as 3 payments of 1000$ during 1 month, will i have problems with the tax office?
