Does anyone know if you need a licence for the lake?
I want to take out my small rubber boat with a small outboard?

Or without the outboard and just row around.

From what I've seen many lakes in Poland don't allow boats with outboards, it may help if you say where you're planning to visit?

you'll need what they call patent motorowodny or complete a course on how to be sternik motorowodny from my understanding to use a boat with a motor, for a yacht you need patent zeglarski and without the motor and just using a paddle I don't think you need any sort of licence.

They say. You don't need any licence up to 10kW (14hp) engine. If you are going to fish, boat should be registered and have markings on the boards. If you are going to row or fish in the night you have to have lights.

So a blow up dingy and a small 5hp engine is good and no license required?
The lake is Jeziorsko close too Lodz

I take it safety is in order so each passenger needs a life vest.

No we don't want to fish. Just plot around the lake ... few beers.... Sun... more beers

:)

Don't let the police catch you. They do hand out tickets to people drinking while on the lake on a boat, blow up mattress etc.

So no chance of outrunning the police on a 5hp motor then lol
