Polish landlady hiding and lying about when she would pay back the kaucja/deposit

Hi all.

I have this situation with a landlady in Warsaw. She tried to force me illegally just by being rude and insulting to raise the rent, before our contract was over. I said NO, so she said that I have to leave. And then she hid herself and did not pick up the phone, basically stealing my deposit of 1500Zloty, which is a huge amount of money for me, since I'm a student and can't work that much due to 2 studies. She went on sending me romantic sms's which I dont get why, then hate sms's, then saying that She would pay it back on 10th of December. I left on 2nd of November. So I have been very understanding and hoping that she will do the right thing. But it seems that she is lying the whole time, so I still dont have the money. I contacted University of Warsaw and I think that tomorrow they will help me somehow, but If you know some way or a procedure how to get my money back, it will be greatly appreciated.

First thing is to establish if you have a contract with her. If so, you can get your deposit by taking her to court.
If you do not have a signed contract with her - forget it.

Probably she spent all the money. She has 1 month from 2nd of November. Then you can go to the court. It cost 1.25% of 1500zł

eh eh goodGuy OP, go take a look in the "Real Estate" section of the forum, and read there hundreds of horror stories much worse than yours

why you refused her romance letters ?
maybe thats why he got so ****** later and started hate speech.
