Hello,

Does anyone know of any Polish talk radio stations? Any subject, but the simpler the better as I am just starting to learn Polish.

Many Thanks

Hi,

TOK fm

Yep, Tok FM is a good choice. Go to: tokfm.pl to listen it online. Click "słuchaj online" in the upper right corner and enjoy:)

[Moved from]: POLISH ONLINE TALK-ONLY RADIO?

Dobry Wieczor (it's evening here)!

I am in the early stages of learning the language and to assist with my becoming familiar with the sounds, am seeking an online radio station of the Polish language that is TALK only (I.E. no music!). I feel that having this on in the bacground while taking care of business, or relaxing, would help the language slip into my unconscious much quicker.

If someone could provide a link that would be great. Djienkuje!

Merged: anyone know of a polish radio station - with no music ,,, ONLY news/speech?

listening to a couple of stations including radiozet , pr24 every few minutes you hear some poxy 80s throwback ( phil collins etc) .....

are there any stations just just do speech ONLY ?

The closest I've heard is TOK FM but still they also used songs, usually in English, as buffers.

This goes back to the old Polish tendency to think of music in English as instrumentals.

I would suggest Polish Radio 3 ( just google: polskie radio Trójka)

It is a mixture of talk radio station and a music station

Hope you will enjoy it:)
