Bądź mój / moja/ą (depending on the gender of the addressee) or Zostań mój / moja/ą. (zostań means more like become than be)

Thank you! But doesn't it sound oddly (unnatural) to the Polish ears?

it sounds pretty neutral especially Zostań mój / moja.

Zostań mój

This one sounds better.

Zostań mój / moja/ą. (zostań means more like become than be)

This is not only unnatural but incorrect as well.

it sounds pretty neutral especially Zostań mój / moja.

Not true at all. This is simply wrong.

gumishu: Zostań mój
This one sounds better.

Again: wrong!!!

Bądź mój / moja

These are the only correct forms (male/female)

Unless you're a clairvoyant, I'm not terribly sure how you'd know which one I think sounds a nicer phrase.

Unless you meant something about 'literal translations' (oddly enough, some of us do know the difference between bądź and zostań, at least as well as you do) however the best translations are rarely literal, something that a significant proportion of non-natives who translate 'professionally' into English might do well to remember.

however the best translations are rarely literal,

this doesn't mean that they can be grammatically incorrect though!

"zostań moj / moja" is totally incorrect. "zostań moim / moją" require an object.

"bądź mój / moja" seems gramatically correct and would probably sound OK in the right context.

If by "be mine" the OP means "marry me", then the obvious translation would be "wyjdź za mnie" or possibly "zostań moją żoną / moim mężem".

That's right.
Bądź mój,moja/ą means "Be Mine".
Zostań moją means "Become Mine" and sounds more unnatural.
