It's incorrect in the same way as "we Warszawie" is incorrect.

Wrong.

Means "w Wrocławiu" is as correct as "w Warszawie" is. That's of course if you believe into what Slownik Języka Polskiego by PWN Officialy says.

No, it doesn't say that at all. Read it again.

Sadowska contends that "we Wrocławiu" IS correct, as is "we wtorek", "we Włoszech" etc...

@Lyzko

Everybody contends exactly that, including the source that NoToForeigners quoted.

LOL. It says:

... można zatem powiedzieć w Warszawie i Wrocławiu, choć tylko we Wrocławiu.

... which means "you can say BOTH" w Warszawie" AND "w Wrocławiu" but you can ONLY say "we Wrocławiu" (as you CAN'T SAY we Warszawie).

No, it means you can say w Warszawie i Wrocławiu in place of saying w Warszawie i we Wrocławiu.

Nie ma obowiązku powtarzać przyimka przed każdym rzeczownikiem w szeregu

No, it doesn't say that at all. It clearly says that "w Wrocławiu" is incorrect.

Well... Maybe. I am always saying we Wrocławiu anyway. Good thing Lyzko won't be (hopefully) using we Warszawie anymore :)
