Addressing a follow up email to an embassy of the Republic of Poland

Hi there,
I am writing a follow up email to an embassy to enquire about arranging a meeting with regards to some documents. I haven't received any reply from the Brexit-striken department for over a week. I would like to check whether it would not be deemed inappropriate to write as follows

All the best,

Sorry I have realised this probably belongs under the Language (this is part of the procedure for allowing me to study abroad though). If an admin can move this to the correct forum let me know

A more proper way would be:

@Tlum Thanks, and you are right zapytać does make more sense here than potwierdzić.
