Polish on the computer?

Maybe some PF comptuer guru can help. What infuriates me is when the computer does its own thing against the user's will. For one the calibri font which I have never used, disilike, have no use for and never plan to use for some reasons kicks in whenever I click on 'clear formatting'. I mainly use Times New Roman, occasionally Arial, but never calibri. Can this be easily fixed?

Secondly, without warning Polish Programmer's kicks in from time to time causing me to type unwanted brackets and puctuation marks in place of the Polish accented letters shown on my Polish 214 keyboard. I can fix this manually but it's a pain in the bum. Is there any way toto permanently delete, expurgate and kick out that useless and stupid Polski Programisty?

The PoLish Programmers thing is easy enough to fix - just deinstall it via control panel. I only have English UK and Polish 214. You could probably delete Calibri, but I'm not sure that would be a good idea, better just to put up with that one!

what it is actually like to write on a Polish keyboard without the need to use Alt combinations - the concept is pretty alien to me as I am thouroughly grown into Polish Programmer's - I have never actually seen a Polish PC keyboard that has Polish signs on keys and never known anyone who would use anything other than Polish Programmer's

It happens to me all the time. You just accidentally push shift + ctr. It's a key shortcut to switch between the keyboard format. Look for a way to disable it in control panel

You mean in your browser? That might be a virus, but it might be also that you change something in browser options I suppose. Look for option domyślna czcionka.
