Advanced Polish language learning - how? Looking for ideas.

Just wondering how people learn Polish after they've finished the beginner books. There isn't that much out there for learners of Polish after the beginning phases of learning. I plan on learning Polish to C1 level in the next few months but I can't even find a TV show in Polish with Polish subtitles so I'm beginning to think it will take at least a year to get where I should get in a couple of months due to lack of resources. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :-)

What about DVDs of Polish language films?

After finishing the beginner books, you have to do it yourself. That's also my struggle. Read papers, listen to polish radio, watch television (unfortunately I don't have that much time) and the most important thing for me is talking. Find a native speaker and exchange your languages.

adapter.org.pl/filmy/ - I think that you can find there some interesting films with subtitles.

If you are able to receive Polish TV you can turn on subtitles for the hearing impaired.

Try watching recent Polish movies with Polish, rather than native-language, subtitles! This will allow you to see what the speakers are saying, as well as listen to them while they're talking. Never underestimate the primacy of mimicking facial gesture when speaking.
