European.

As European as an Albanian.

Albanians

What a shame for Europe.

Eu.

If EU can't bring a good solution (which is unlikely) to this economy crisis without any war, there will be no more EU.

If EU plays religion card like USA and Britain played in this decade, then, it is a disaster for EU.

If EU plays nationalism card, it is atomization into particles in EU.

Only choice of EU is to play economy card. But, it is too difficult to play this card as wealth distribution in EU is very bad.

So, EU is a minor player in world lately.

ps: Israel - Turkey relations? It is deeper than people think here.. EU can see war between Israel and Turkey after EU is totally collapsed.

Israel is a permanent thorn in the side for peace efforts, as is Hamas. Hamas don't even recognise Israel so there can be no peace as it is a prerequisite of Likud's that they do.

They had better tone down the rhetoric as they can be stripped of their nukes. The EU has 2 nuclear powers anyway.

Poland's position is critical. If Poland choses to side with Russia or USA, it will mean gun choice.. This means war and this probably leads to world war. Poland should side with EU and EU should focus itself only on economy as EU's existence is based on economy. Then, Israel or in other words, Jews will be close friends of Poland. We have not seen economy crisis in Poland yet just cause of this. Poland can be boss of Europe or can be small soldier of someone elses. So, it is not Israel who wants to wipe Poland off the map, but, other countries such as USA, Russia and military side of Europe as they know Poland with better economy means cooperation of Poland with Israel and Jews.

Hamas don't even recognise Israel so there can be no peace as it is a prerequisite of Likud's that they do.

Hamas offer Israel 10 year 'cease fire' when they were democratically elected...Israel reject it, because they want to remove all Arabs from 'Jew state', except for those who will work as janitors and such...Israel is the most duplicitous of nations: They initially gave Hamas funding because they saw it as opposition to Yassir Arafat.

Israelis have absolutely no shame...Or, I clarify, Israeli leadership...One big wig military man advocated rape of Palestinian women because 'they are here to serve Jews'.

I don't think they want to remove all Arabs from the 'Jewish' state, Joe. They give them positions of power and allow some degree of interaction with local Jews. If they were so paranoid, they wouldn't even allow that.

I don't think Hamas would have offered a ceasefire at all.

They give them positions of power

Yes, power to turn on vacuum cleaner and clean Jew house on Saturday.

Only if they renounce Hamas, however.

Check out voting in Israel and the Knesset. Check also the prominence of some Palestinian Arab writers.

They were part of the framework before Hamas got in, Joe.

I'm not saying the position is balanced but they are not completely devoid of rights or input.

Seanus, you talking to the wrong person on this issue.

Sure, a few Palestinians do OK...Mahmoud Abbas and his clan for instance...Hey, they even build a new soccer stadium in Ramallah, but Palestinians can't use it because Jews can see them play.

Anyway, check this ex-US Marine out as the slavering British shiksa interviews him:

She is a shmuck with no vision of the bigger picture. Turkey's response has been moderate.

Well she did journalistic hit job on the truth and omitted criminal activity of Israel

It was just how fervent she was in her denials. She vehemently opposed anything the man said and he was there. BBC really has some oddballs in their ranks!

he was there

What else can he say than what he did? You really expect him to say: yes, we did attack the soldiers? That wouldn't look so good, now wouldn't it? How do we know that he indeed seperated the bullets from the gun he retrieved from an Israeli soldier? How do we know? Because he says so? The fact that he was there is no proof at all that his version of events is the truth. Just like the Israeli version his version is biased beyond doubt. What annoys me about this discussion is the unconditional acceptance of everything that counters the Israeli version of events by all participants so far. I'm not saying the Israeli version is the correct one, but I haven't seen any proof so far that the other side is telling the truth. It's just accepted as is and that is actually a bad thing.

I don't doubt that. M-G. Nevertheless, you can wipe out the credibility of any witness in that case. How about corroboration to make sure that his story checks out? Israel conducting its own investigation and making it out to be the official one is wrong too.

I'm all for corroboration. I'm just against the unconditional acceptance of anything witnesses say as the truth. Research has shown that witnesses usually don't tell the truth, either because they are too shocked by what happened or they are member of the group which has an interest in any of the outcomes.

I agree with that which is why judgement is key! So why interview the guy if everyone can be so dismissive?

For entertainment purposes. The program is called "Hard Talk", so you can expect the interviewer giving the interviewee a hard time. And the art of engaging in this is not to get angry, upset or give in to any decoys the interviewer may lay for you and just to stick to your version of things. This woman had a field day when the guy got angry (you could see him getting angry), so of course she bashed in on him more and more. You don't have to blame her for this. It's her job to do so, it's what the viewers want to see.

Nobody is telling the full truth ever, anyway. Everybody gives their own version of it and the full truth can only emerge once all versions have been put together and you determine the greatest common divider, only then you will know a story which is closest to the truth. So all stories should be laid together and an impartial person should determine the gcd and only then you will come the closest you can to the truth.

Oh, they are going, MC. Don't you worry, muchacho!

Sb apparently smuggled out video footage but I guess the Mossad caught up with them. Norman Finkelstein made that point.

I don't even know what it means, MC, so don't get offended!

Israel wants to wipe Poland off the map??? Netanyahu pulls the strings and he clearly doesn't want that. He gave his sincerest condolences when LK and the crew died. He is a politician and likely two-faced but attacking Poland would be lunacy and is NOT on the cards (or in the cards as Americans say).

It means "boy", but it's a ridicolous sounding word so refrain from using it in the future.

Back on topic:I don't think Israel would waste a nuke on Poland lol.

OK, heeded :) :) I didn't know, I'd just heard it :)

Well, proposals are being set in motion to strip them and the whole region of nukes. Shame the process won't get off the ground.

Psst, we all know that in WW III some countries will go nuclear.
