Should Poland be given ANY credit for ALLOWING Jews into Poland for 1000 years?

And they could die doing that as well.

Spoken like a true mother! lol

It's easy to speak about something u don't have to be faced with!

I've gotten threats of lawsuits and on my life for confronting the Black "Hebrews", for example; and no matter how small of a degree that is, I was still faced with something!

Oh Ya!!! That's so similar to sending your kids to Auschwitz! lol

One person told me that I'm a criminal Jew who needs more gas, and I said that it was to a small degree.

genecps is basically saying that I've never faced an Anti-Semitic threat where I'd choose doing the wrong thing over the right thing.

Nickidewbear,It's hard to judge what you would do until you're actually in a situation that confronted the Jews and the Poles of WW2.It's one thing to be criticized and given threats of lawsuits and death threats by people who obviously didn't carry them out.The Nazis did.I believe the

expression never say never,I'm not belittling your situation mind you,but there is a huge difference between the two.

Actually, one did try to at least pretend to carry it out; and anyway, I have the faith with which, as hard as dying is, I would risk my life for my people--even the non saved among them. I have Heaven, anyway: what do they have if they're not saved?

You don't know whether or not any one is saved Only He knows that. The best any one can say is I like to believe I would. My thing is this If you

can hold fast in a situation like WW2,that's very admirable, but if you couldn't I would not judge you harshly.A lot of people made some hard

choices that no one should have had to make.

What else do you call "Non Messianic" or "Non Christian"? "Saved"?

I'm not going to stray off topic, not the thread for that.We can post on the other thread about that.I Don't know what I would've done in WW2.

And I don't believe any when knows what they would have done unless they were actually in that situation that the Poles or the Jews were in.

It is impossible to know without being there and experiencing the exact same circumstances.

PlasticPole,I completely agree,I like to think I would've been able to stick fast to my convictions, but how do I actually know?

People, in hindsight, judge harshly but more often than not, I feel compassion for so many people stuck in a very bad situation. It must have been extremely difficult for so many.

PlasticPole,I'm sure it was and I have compassion for them also.

It is so easy to say what I WOULD HAVE DONE

Very "noble" statement.

Like someone said everything seems so clear in hindsight.

Or as my mom would say: Fools always speak with such conviction!

p3undone: I'm not going to stray off topic, not the thread for that..

Meanwhile, I was in an abuse situation; and I smuggled notes, etc. about the abuse to my mom's house, etc.. So, I've been in a life-or-death situation to some degree--and I think that since I handled the abuse situation, I know what I'd've done in the Holocaust.

Easy to say when not confronted with the situation,Your using examples that do not compare in any way shape or form.

I am so grateful you or I are not in that situation though. What do you think you would have done?

Nckidewbear,You're basing how you would be able to handle the same circumstances based on that degree. You really can't.What you can say

for absolutely sure is that you believe that you would handle the WW2 situation the way you say you would.

I more than know what I'd've done, hard as it is--I've died for my people.

You would have taken up arms and fought? Many people nowadays say they would do the same.
