I'm sorry Harry, you're not British:))

I also think that talking about the Holocaust is unnecessary.
If only ALL people thought so.

Most people would want to be able to not talk about the holocaust because the holocaust hadn't happened. You on the other hand just think that the whole thing isn't worth talking about because mainly Jews died and that makes the holocaust a good thing.

I'm in the US and the image you are presenting is a stupid one. You are making us look bad when you post the same trite BS. You look like you are covering your ass. It makes you look guilty as hell tho you don't seem to care.

It just makes the Polish look bad and I want to say to any objective observer reading this, don't pay attention to the anti semetic tripe it doesn't represent all Polish.

Holocaust is not worth talking about mainly because it was not pivotal to human history, it was horrible yes but the amount of attention given to it is absolutely unjustified given how little impact it made (apart from Jews making it center of WW2 history).

'We'? Who/what/which 'We'? Please specify. Do you know what 'They' think?

So now you are a mind reader, Harry?

Did you know that the most of a people avoid using a left cerebral hemisphere (concerning logical processing) cause it's to exhausting for them? :-]

Short article about left cerebral hemisphere:

Short article about left cerebral hemisphere:

Moot point -
The article refers to Neuromagnetic activity in response to auditory stimulation - it would appear to me this is lacking in an Internet forum ?

Edit - interesting to note that in order to "read" we have to think of the sound so some auditory processing is required. The study quoted seems to be from Japan, where the characters ( letters ) are different and so use a different part of the brain to "decode" them. This would have a bearing on the MRI of a person reading "European " text rather than "oriental " such as Japanese or Chinese.

Most of what you see on sites like this are people stirring the pot, as they say. Using history as a means to an end, to upset people, try to manipulate them into feeling anger or guilt.

Right. This is why they do what they do here. Good of you for seeing through the BS, HB.

The difference between university and college in the US is negligible, Seanus. It’s pretty much just a tag that has more to do with funding source than anything.

I never stated that this article was about exhaustion during a logical thinking process - I provided that link to introduce Harry (and the other forum members) with a left cerebral hemisphere issue:

Short article about left cerebral hemisphere:

I remember that the process of logical thinking was a subject of my studies studies (1st year on B-stok Polytechnic, Poland) where my lecturer (doctor of psychology) stated that half-jokingly:

"Did you know that the most of a people avoid using a left cerebral hemisphere (concerning logical processing) cause it's to exhausting for them?"

That's why he lectures 1st year college students ;-)

Its interesting stuff.

A college generally awards 4 year degrees from different departments of one school, whereas a university is a unified collection of different colleges and schools that offer different degrees. You can get graduate degrees at a university all the way up to a doctorate, so there is also a difference in the type of research that is conducted between the two. In the U.S., college and university is used interchangeably as a casual description, but there are technical differences between the two.

Really? Is that what I think?
This is becoming creepy. Harry knows what people think.

As for "mainly Jews died":

There were almost 73 million victims of WW2. There were between 3 and 5 million Jews killed during WW2 - that's 4 to 6% and you say that "mainly Jews died"?

Do you need remedial math?

You need to relax and enjoy the label that the Jews pin on you - You were born a Polish antisemite.

Not true. I've known jews who didn't label me an antisemite. After reading some of the posts on PF they might change their minds. Some of the threads and posts are just proving what jews who think we are born anti semites believe: Poles are anti semites. Poles are nazi collaborators. Poles are guilty. Repeating the same info over and over just makes us look guilty as hell too.

So we should be quiet and take Jewish prejudice against us quietly without loudly opposing it? Because thats what it is, opposition, rebuke, not anti-semitism.

nazi collaborators.

Since we are on about Jews and Nazi collaborators....what about the guys that were supporting the Nazis against General Anders and the allies ?

What about the guys that were doing deals with the Italian fascists that the Poles would later fight at Monte Cassino ?

Are you so scared that you will get labelled that you won't recognize a facts, HatefulBunch?

Poles are anti semites

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rescue_of_Jews_by_Poles_during_the_Holocaust

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Żegota
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irena_Sendler

Poles are nazi collaborators.

No Polish leader of any standing ever offered to work for the Nazis. And no military unit was formed under German Command from Polish volunteers. By 1942, the Waffen-SS was filling up with volunteer divisions from France, Holland, Russia, Scandinavia, Hungary, Ukraine and even Bosnia. But they never got any Poles. Sad to relate, there were more British volunteers for the Waffen-SS than there were Polish volunteers [! - S.K.]

What image am I presenting? I am making Americans look bad?

For a while I thought you were some high school girl, but then you said you went to college. We all know that isn't saying much, and you written English is terrible, but you should start concerning yourself with anti-Polonism first and then anti-semitism if you must.

Find one post of mine where I display hatred for Jews. Do that now.

There were some interesting Nazi Collaborations in WW2 - none more so than the Stern Gang.

While the soldiers of the Scottish 51st Highland Infantry and the Polish soldiers under General Anders were busy fighting the Nazis in North Africa, the Stern Gang including Yitzhak Shamir and Menachem Begin were busy ambushing allies, and blew up the vital Haifa-Cairo railroad supply line.

They were also doing deals with the fascists in Italy just before the Polish victory at Monte Cassino.

When Yitzhak Shamir, Israel's future Prime Minister in the 1980s, was asked to explain their collaboration with the Fascists, he replied:

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Also worth a Google is the Haavara Agreement.

Whilst these Jewish nazi collaborators were very much the minority, it is an interesting juxtaposition that is often overlooked.

It's the Polish ethnic group that looks bad as a whole based on some of the threads and posts in the politics and history part of PF. Yes, I'm American but my grandparents emigrated to the US from Europe and some of them are Polish. So you see, it's not just about Poles in Poland. It's about us Polonia in the US and where ever else too. We just need to get the word out the antisemitism doesn't represent us all, just a few extremists posting on a forum. Get that point across and all should be fine :)

We just need to get the word out the antisemitism doesn't represent us all,

You are trembling in fear not be labeled an antisemite. Why?

Probably because you have no clue about Polish history and you are resistant to knowledge. You are also brainwashed that any criticism of Jews is antisemitic. You make a lousy Polka. Downright wimpy, stand up for yourself and stop worrying how Jews see you. Better yet learn to fight their lies with facts.
