I have a daughter who studied Latin for years and was one of few that actually enjoyed it. She might be up for the challenge.
Now there's a stroke of luck!
I hadn't considered the penmanship.
Some of that old style writing looks beautiful, but quite often it is hard to distinguish individual letters, obviously depending on how clearly it is written.
