We have an abundance of mushrooms here in the U.S.A. this year also.
Most kinds of them we dry and then freeze.
On my property I have Shaggy Manes, Stumpers & Honey mushrooms.
I have to walk a ways to find the chantrelles.

...and then they'll make a great soup.

Just got back from hunting for Zielonki.

Lucky you didn't get blown up.
An invasion of Polish people picking up mushrooms ruined the teachings of an American tank unit near the western city of Jagan.
US combat machines yesterday had to shoot in that area.
The heavy rains caused an abundant mushroom crop, and many residents of the area set out to collect them.
The people were not concerned by the warning posters in Polish and English, and the command was forced to cancel the maneuvers.
Hell if I were in command I would have popped off a couple of 105mm in the area needed to practice and watched the mushrooms pickers change their pants.

@johnny reb

This is true, but those training grounds are actually in ZAGAN. Not sure how the reporter F'ed that one up.
