Polonius3 1,000 | 12,446 22 May 2011 #1Okocim has been recently advertising itself as the double-hopped (podwójnie chmielone) beer. Has anyone of you tried it?Does it have an intensive hop flavour, and is that what most beer-drinkers want in their brew? Or this is yet another nice-sounding advertising gimmick?!
SeanBM 35 | 5,808 22 May 2011 #2OkocimŻywiec, Tyskie and Okocim are the three main beers that you can buy here in Poland and they all taste more or less the same.
Seanus 15 | 19,706 22 May 2011 #3Miller Lite is triple-hopped. I like Okocim but wouldn't say it was hoppy.
Nathan 18 | 1,363 23 May 2011 #4Does it have an intensive hop flavourMe likes hops sprinkled with beer :)=
gumishu 13 | 6,100 23 May 2011 #5if you want really bitter (hoppy) bear you need to go to the Czech Republic or Germany - I never had Polish beer that was really strong taste-wise
sobieski 107 | 2,128 23 May 2011 #6Methinks Okocim is horrible :)By the way, I have friends claiiming bottled Żywiec is way better as the canned variety, For me they are just the same. I mean, both produced by Heineken, which says everything :)
