I'm hoping to find coffee syrup for my coffee making at home. I've tried Coffee Heavens selection that they offer for sale and it's not that great. I'm hoping to find 1883 or Torani or any other suggestions you may have?

Or perhaps know where I can start looking for it? Thank you!!

Since you're very selective---why not experiment and make your own. Here's a recepie I found:Coffee syrup is a very easy syrup to make. It only includes three ingredients:

1 cup of ground coffee
1 cup of sugar
3 cups of water
It only takes minutes and is very tasty.

1) Boil both the sugar and water together for about five minutes.
2) Next, pour the mixture over the ground coffee.
3) Let this stand until it cools, and then strain.
4) Last, refrigerate in a sealed container.
Your coffee syrup is ready when it becomes somewhat thick.

What is the point of having coffeee syrup? Anyone who doesn't want to brew ground coffee the normal way can use instant.

I took a tour of a coffee plantation in Jamaica a few years back. One thing that stuck in my mind was that the guide stated that the worst of the worst beans go towards making instant coffee. Decafeinated was only slightly better. So I can see why somebody might want syrup. It is a better quality than instant.

Syrup as in flavored syrup like carmel, honey, vanilla and so forth that you can mix in with an espresso to make things like a iced carmel machciatto (sp) etc.

But surely various syrups, honey, etc. can be added to normal espresso. Of course there's the convenience factor -- you can't always have an espresso machine on hand, whilst access to boiling water is far easier.

You're not making any sense.

I make my espresso's at home. I'd like to flavor my espresso's with a syrup. It has nothing to do with access else where. I simply want it for my personal consumption at home.
