Hey there,

I am looking for a job in Australia for my dad, who doesn't speak English. Only Polish and German.

He wants to visit me here in Australia for one or two month and he is good in handworking.

It doesn't matter which job it is and I would be really happy for replys!!!

Thank you!

Will he go home after he'd worked illegally, or will he simply overstay his tourist visa like so many others before him? And you guys whinge that you are not part of the Visa Waiver Program in both Oz and the US...

He will not work illegally. He will get his Visa and everything he needs to work legal but he only needs a job where he can speak either in german or polish.

There is only one visa I'm aware of that would allow him to work: the Temporary Contributory Parent Visa. Is that the one he has? Still, why would he want to work when he's only visiting for a few weeks?

Anyway, maybe he has a chance applying for farm work. Here's the place to look:

jobsearch.gov.au/job/search/harvest

English language skills not essential. Just get a harvest table and travel a bit.

PS:
Apologies for assuming that your dad might try something illegal. Your original post sounded a bit fishy, to be honest.

Thanks for your reply.

He hasn't got his Visa yet because he is just planning first but yes I think that's the Visa he needs.
He wants to visit Australia for one or two month and it's very expensive to live here.

A farm work would be perfekt!! Thank you!
