What is approximately a competitive salary for a engineer in Poland with 3 years experience in an international company?

For Poland, I would consider probably 7500 PLN gross?

Probably at lot less. That's about the pay that a project manager would get.

Of course, it depends on what kind of engineer you are, what kind of job you get, and which company you end up working for. But 7500 seems a bit optimistic.

Here in the United States, it all comes down to what kind of engineer you are. Some engineers make a lot of money, especially those working in the big companies like Boeing and UTC. Others not so much. I would imagine the same variation exists in Poland.

I can say from my experience, after 3 years in software development I had a 5k gross salary. Then after 2 years I started working for a polish-danish start-up for 8k gross, and then, after another year, I got my salary increased to 10k gross a month. Multinational companies are definitely the way to go if you want higher remuneration.
