Costa1975 11 Feb 2012 / #1HII'm planning to move to Poland with my wife and kid for just a 1 year contract.I've lots of doubts about taxes so if someone can advise it will be a great help since I only accept the offer if i get this clearI will work for a Italian company and they are offering 120000 euros a year. From that I've to pay housing food and transportation insurance etc.How much I'll be charched over a salary like that and is there any ways to get taxes reduced for this kind of contract/situation.Do I need to pay taxes in advance or after the year is over, I presume in advance and what the percentage.thanks for your helpCosta
gumishu 14 | 6235 11 Feb 2012 / #2with that salary (10 000 euro/month) you will be paying 38 per cent personal tax - you should ask if the 120 000 euro/yearly is net or gross (which makes a lot of difference)you will be paying 38 per centsorry it was 32 per cent - my bad
pip 10 | 1658 11 Feb 2012 / #3but if you are registered as a personal business you pay less tax and you get to write off a lot of expenses. maybe somebody could explain this better than me. my husband does this. he is registered as a personal business and his company has hired him to do business- the income tax goes down to, i think, 19%.
sa11y 5 | 331 25 Oct 2012 / #4sorry it was 32 per cent - my bad18% up to 85 kPLN and 32% after - effectively +-30% to be specific.Or - like Pip pointed out 19% with registered company.
