I am thinking about doing my master's degree in law in Poland. A little bit of chance, I can finish my licence in Poland but I am not sure. I also want to learn and probably will learn Polish before I come to Poland. Is it hard to find a job as Turkish trained lawyer in Poland? Is master's degree in Poland enough for me to find a job?
All advises and answers will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Do you have any family connections? My fiance's mom went to law school, and she was unable to find a job as the industry is entirely controlled by nepotism and cronyism. I don't think many people are going to be lining up to visit a Turkish lawyer of all people, can't see the incentive, it really sounds like a hair brained idea honestly. My advice would be to go to Germany, where there is a sizable Turkish diaspora and where the social situation is more amenable to someone from your country.
Pretty much one of the worst things to study in Poland, or just about anywhere else, unless you have solid, preferably family, connections high up in the field. In most countries, law is a closed field that does not make it easy for outsiders to join. Most Poles who study law in Poland never work a single day in the field, and the same is true for just about every developed country. Also, as SigSauer says, the Turkish community in Poland is tiny, and it's going to be hard to find enough clients to make a living income. In Germany, you will face fierce competition from the hoards of Turkish-German law graduates who would sell their mothers for any type of law-related job.
If you want to be able to find a job abroad, then study something with lots and lots of advanced applied mathematics, like petroleum engineering, geological engineering, biomedical engineering, econometrics (not economics), financial engineering (not finance), financial mathematics or actuarial sciences. The one thing employers are desperate for is people who can do high-level applied mathematics.
If I go to Poland in the future and I highly doubt it for financial reasons, I would like to know if I can get a master's degree and maybe start teaching in public. Although I'm strong believer that I will never have the time to do this, but just out of curiosity. I have Business Management Diploma(2 years) and Real Estate Certificate ( 6 Months). will that be enough to
Yes. It is possible. Have a look at the MBA programmes offered by PAN (the Polish Academy of Sciences). They are modular, can be done over time and have some very interesting options.
