What is the job market situation (high technology field) in Poland?

Hi folks,

This is Sougata here from Delhi, India. I just moved back to India last year from Singapore after living 7 years abroad in different countries (France/Spain/South Africa/Singapore). I am interested to know about the job market situation in Poland as i was always eager to move to Poland to live and work there. I never got the chance to move to Poland or even visit it when i was in Europe.

I hold a MS degree in Telecommunication from a prestigious French Telecom Engineering school and close to 8 years experience in combined in Telecommunication Industry , Academic Research and Education Management. Currently i am working as an Assistant Manager at one consulting company here in Delhi where i am working on INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY/PATENTS. Including my current work experience it is close to 9 years.

My questions are -

1. How difficult to look for a job in my hi tech field from here India in Poland ?
2. Is POLISH language skills absolutely necessary even for HI TECH kind of works?
3. If job looking is possible how do i start to look for jobs in Poland from here in India?
4. Does firms in Poland hire experienced Engineers from outside Europe or say Asia?

If anyone can answer my queries will be really helpful,

You expect US to do all the donkey work for you?
There are many posts on this forum, where people from India have been offered good and bad positions. Maybe YOU ought to get in touch with these companies to see if you are suitable for the positions that they offer.

Remember, any future employer has to apply for a work permit for you for a specific job. He has to PROVE that there is no one else available in Poland to do the work.

You have to offer something that no one else can offer.
