Information about jobs for Indian students in Poland

Well guys i have a totally different story .....i am a graduate in computer science and recently met this girl from Poland and we are deeply in love...i have no work experience because i opted not to do job in IT and was preparing for government job in india ....my girl wants me to come to poland and she is saying that i will get a job there but looking at forums like this i dont think so ....so what should i do?

Maybe go for a holiday and see for yourself.

You will find job in IT, they're crying out for workers right now. In the long run you'll need to learn Polish.

Well, you don't have any experience, and there is little demand for inexperienced IT people in Poland. Whatever you do, don't come to Poland thinking you are going to find a job here. Get a job BEFORE you come.

A bachelors degree in business administration from a course taught in English at a Polish university is worth nothing on the job market in any country, including Poland.

A bachelors degree in business administration from just about any university in the world is not worth much, either. The world needs people with degrees in business like it needs cockroaches or rats. Everyone, their mother and their dog seem to have business degrees these days.

You would be much better off studying a field that involves a lot of high-level advanced applied mathematics, like econometrics (not economics), financial mathematics (not finance), financial engineering or actuarial sciences. There are far to many graduates in non-math fields competing for too few jobs. High-level advanced applied mathematics skills, on the other hand, are in desperate demand.

Your German skills will prove essential for serious, long-term, above all higher-level, employment and or study in Germany! As to how important it will be to have this knowledge along with English in Poland, I would say cannot hurt your chances, but only help them:-)

How well though do you know German? Working and/studying in Poland requires at least basic Polish, your other languages (including your native language) notwithstanding.

No. It is not enough to survive. You will lose money on the deal. That is very, very bad pay.

There are no good paying blue-collar jobs for Indians in Poland, It's a waste of time to look for one. Try the richer countries in Western Europe.

More than enough. You'll get access to government healthcare though your tax payments. A shared room will cost you about 500PLN month maximum, so the salary will provide you with the chance to save a little bit of money too.

Less than enough. Way less than enough. You forget that, unlike a Pole, he has to pay to be in Poland. That means his total travel-related expenses, documents and all other expenses related to the move to and from Poland have to come out of his income. Plus anything he agreed to pay his "agent". That leaves him empty-handed or worse.

Forget savings. He might have to wire his family in India for help to get back home when he realizes he has been scammed.

Anyone offering unskilled work in Poland to people from third world countries is a scam artist. There is zero demand for unskilled labor from outside the EU in Poland that cannot be satisfied by Ukrainians a hundred times over. Chances are exceedingly low that the OP has received a genuine and legal job offer, and even lower that he will ever receive adequate compensation, if any.

Thanks for your explanation. I am going to be a mechanical engineer in a warsaw based company(No labour). I have been told that government health care is free which is a little satisfying. They are giving me accommodation but I don't want to have a hostel-like environment after work so I am gonna find a shared apartment in warsaw. Could you give me any advice about managing 3500 pln per month? I don't need to pay fees to any agent. Poland is temporary like 2 or 3 years until save enough for my masters in the UK or France. I should try to make the best of it while I am here. I can see you are very experienced in answering polish immigration scenarios.
