Not so good schools (information for teachers in Poland)

But I think it's important for Teachers to share their experiences with bad language schools.

Do any other people have experiences of bad languages schools from a teacher or learner perspective, which schools should we avoid co-operation with?

btw... I know that 'TEFL balcklist' blog was pretty useful in keeping track of dodgy schools but it hasn't been updated in a while. Are there anyother websites which collect info on good or bad schools?

It's a good idea to share knowledge. It's useful for people who don't live in the country and don't have access to word of mouth opinions about schools, which is often the most reliable info.

I like the link, I like the blog.

BEWARE - They will not pay you on time, and will use EVERY excuse not to pay you or delay your payment.
I still have an invoice outstanding, a whole months salary. This company is a joke, and don't let the PASE logo fool you into thinking it's quality education,

this is like a private club for schools to buy into, it stands for and means NOTHING!
Their methodologists were a joke, and I even threw one out of my lessons, for taking phone calls and acting like a dziwka!

At the moment I'm consulting with a debt collection company from Ukraine to recover the debt. (With interest of course!)

Why are you bothering?

Just send them the formal demand for payment, wait 10 days, then file a claim online through the e-court in Lublin. If they don't contest it (and it's unlikely they will if it's a clear cut case) - you'll get the positive judgement through within 3-4 weeks maximum. Once that's through, appointing a baliff is a formality.
