I had been working in Poland in 2015, earning salary with tax deducted as normal. My tax situation is very straight forward, only salary earned and nothing else. However, I've moved to live in Italy since the beginning of 2016 (on working visa as well, and I'm not a EU citizen).
My question is, do I still need to file a PIT tax return with the Polish government for 2015? And how do I do that from OUTSIDE of Poland? Or do I file with Italian since I'm an Italian resident now? I'm very confused, I don't konw Polish, wasn't able to find much information online. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
According to my accountant, being abroad is NO excuse! You just find Polish tax office's site, print out their document, fill it in and return it on time so they have it by May 2, 2016. If you don't know how to fill it in (I do not and that's why I have an accountant), maybe check with Polish consulate, they most probably have someone who at least can explain how to do it
Hi, I worked in Poland for two years (2011& 2012) with a company who was Irish. I'm Irish myself. Irish tax office has request to see my tax returns during my time in Poland. I've sent my PIT-36 return but it's in Polish (understandably). Is it possible for me to request this in English and from 2012? If so can someone direct me on the right track?
