Expected Salary Level with Intel in Poland (Gdansk)

I am a software professional with over 15 years of experience .

I would like to know about the expected salary level in Intel - Gdasnk for a professional with 15 years of Industry experience

Do you think that 25,000 -- 30,000 pln /month would be a possible salary with Intel in Gdansk ?.

Could anyone provide the details ?

Sounds very high - in most Polish businesses you would be very senior to get that. But no idea about software so wait for someone who does know.

You will not get that. The most they will offer you is 12,000 to 15,000 pln per month gross.

Not these days. IT salaries are out of control in Poland, and that's the kind of offer made to a mundane senior engineer in something that everyone has (like Java). Anything specialist and in demand and you can add at least 50% to that.


netguru.co/career - worth having a look here to see what the going rates currently are. Salaries are going through the roof because there's so much demand, and Poland can't process visas fast enough for non-EU citizens to work here.

I work in the branch, and I tend to agree with the estimate by terri. To get more than that you need to be not only senior skill-wise, but in a senior managerial position. You might get more in some start-ups and banks, but not in Intel, Samsung, Nokia, ...

Would agree with Terri and Dovla. I know many people working as software engineers and 25,000, even with 15 years experience is a very high salary. It's possible to get that kind of money, but unlikely, especially outside of Warsaw. Software engineering salaries in Gdańsk are about 10% lower than Warsaw.

The thing with salaries is that you can tell them what you want but they have a ceiling and will pay you that before you prove yourself. Also remember that people like to employ people that they know through word-of-mouth networking.
