antoine 11 Mar 2014 / #1Hello,My company is sending me to Warsaw for 6 months. They pay for a furnished heated all equiped apartment and a car. I am going with my wife and 3 kids.Just wondering how much I should expect spending a month ?Thank you,
Jardinero 1 | 383 11 Mar 2014 / #2I would say a rough estimate would be PLN2,000/head/mo, but may vary greatly depending on your lifestyles...
OP antoine 11 Mar 2014 / #3Thank you,Yes I should be more specific. We usually by food at the market, cook our meals, don't drink. We are looking forward visiting Warsaw so expect some expenses there. (Museum, zoo, kids stuff).Probably will be using public transportation. And the odd restaurant.Trying to find out what the food by itself might cost.

OP antoine 11 Mar 2014 / #5I live in Canada, we spend 1500 cad on food for 5 persons.I suppose I should expect around 2/3 of that (More or less) ?

jakubkowalski 29 Jun 2015 / #10Merged: is 1000 zloty enough for fooding and other things in a city like Warsaw?I will be moving to Warsaw around august and I want to know If 1000 zloty per month would be enough for expenditure on Food and other things like clubbing or going to resto-bar once during weekends. Mostly i will eat at home through out the month. Is 100 zloty enough for these things or should i need more and how much more will i need ??
InPolska 9 | 1796 29 Jun 2015 / #11A lot of things are possible but 1,000 a month to eat, go out, buy clothes.... is not enough. You need (at least) 2,500/3,000 if you want to "enjoy life"
