Are there mid to high level jobs in Poland for non native speakers.
It would be interesting to get an answer to the original posters question? Are there companies and offices in Poland that use English as their first language?
hmm....interesting, I can't remember what I wrote.
But, advertising is huge here- there are loads of businesses that do this sort of thing. Advertising is everywhere- sides of buildings, on taxis- in the middle of a farmers field, on peoples fences.
It gives me a headache because I read everything- I can't stop. Perhaps your best bet is to start with some of the big name agencies that have offices in Poland and go from there- once that is determined, send out your c.v. with the hopes of being relocated to Poland.
You would have a different salary then that of a local.
but that is what I mean. Send out c.v.'s from where he lives now with the intent of relocating to Poland. Advertising agencies most certainly need a western touch in this country.
I don't exactly know how advertising works- if they subcontract to a company within a country? I have a school mate who is a big wig in advertising- he started in new york, then to london, amsterdam and now paris. but the companies he has worked for deal with coke, ford---the big names. there is sort of a cult following in advertising- it is the most bizarre thing.
I don't know what the stipulation is for Poland- but advertising here is a complete joke. if there is free space then put up a sign. my husband was telling me that the majority of these signs are not even legal- they don't have permits but they put them up anyway.
I imagine Google would be a great place to start...aren't they in Wroclaw?
While it is not impossible, I work for a large company that had a large number of non-Polish speakers working for it 10 years ago. We are no longer interested in hiring individuals who do not have english as their native language. Additionally I have a large number of expats who have lost their jobs in Poland and have contacted me regarding any possible positions for them, unfortunately they have not been able to find jobs (even when they have learned the Polish language to a level where they are able to work in Polish).
Best to look for the multi-national or Western companies. Where I am in Krakow working the only language requirement is good English as we work mainly with Western companies.
Hi, I want to work in summers but basic requirement for almost all the jobs is Polish, unfortunately i don't speak Polish. I can't even go out of Poland because my visa expires on 4 July and residence card is taking ages. Where can i find jobs for foreigners?
