HCL Krakow job offer, is 3700 PLN net enough to live on?

Hello everybody,

I've just received a job offer in Krakow for a salary of about 3700 net ZLT/month + meal tickets. Can you please help me with an advise? Is this salary enough to pay the rent, utilities and everything else?

Please define: 'everything else.' For rent, utilities, and entertainment it will be more than enough.

Net 3700zl is more than enough to live. I started way less than this in Krakow so did my colleagues! I think 880Euros is not that bad here in Krakow.

could you please help me with an estimation of how much are the monthly bills for a one room apartment of 35- 45 m2 ? electricity, water usage, garbage, internet etc. I'm asking this because I've read different opinions.

You can live on it, however it's slightly below average for the city (but slightly above for the region) and since you'd have expenses and aspirations that a local probably wouldn't you'd have to be careful unless you're quite young and don't mind economising.

if you want to live in the heart of the city that would cost you atleast 1600PLN all inclusive.

But if you want to live like 10mins bus/ tram journey to the Mainsquare, that could cost you around 1400pln all inclusive. and you will have your own studio..

Visit gumtree.pl you can find studios there and you will get an idea.

Travelling is cheap here. 89zl for a monthly bus/tram pass all lines included. however, HCL is in zabierzow, so maybe an extra train ticket would be required.
