City and Guilds Pitman examinations

I have been out of the teaching profession for ages now so I have a question about the above exams which I'm hoping someone can answer.

My wifes employer wants to send her to do a C2 level exam and cant decide between the cambridge and Pitman exam. How do theyt differ? Is the pitman recognised around the world?

Please help me cos ultimately the decision is in my wifes hands not her employers

Cambridge all the way. It's the recoginised name on everyone's lips - although to Brits, City and Guilds is well recognised, it's not very well known elsewhere.

Ok but i Heard that htese City and Guilds are the new Black so to speak. I just wanted others' opionions on it
