Starsky is building a new store at the corner of Nash Road and Queenston Road and will open this Spring. I am glad they chose Hamilton - they should do very well at this location. I wish them much success.
Starsky Food store opening in Hamilton, Ontario
you wouldn't happen to own this place??
I wish them much success.
I hope they put the tooth picks in the samples so that unscrupulous types don't use the same saliva laden tooth picks while they sample from this to that to the other varieties of kielbassa.

gross
I have seen it myself in the Starsky's in Mississauga - both of them. I refuse to partake unless the platter comes out fresh from behind the counter.
I'm just a customer myself; why don't you send an email to them instead of whining here? I still think they are a good store and will do well in Hamilton because there is a large Slavic and European population here; also many English Canadians are looking forward to shopping there. It will give more variety; there is Fortino's and Denninger's here.

i don't see any examples of posters 'whining'
They are complaining about unsanitary toothpicks used in sampling the food (read the thread). That's called complaining, they should take it up with the store. I have nothing to do with it. I thought people would be interested in knowing that this store is opening here, especially because this is a POLISH forum, I thought the Polish members would be glad to know. It seems to me there is a lot of negativity and useless criticism here; perhaps I should not have posted this. Maybe you can delete it.

Can you say "store owner"?
They are complaining about unsanitary toothpicks used in sampling the food (read the thread).
so they are not complaining about you, are they ? don't take things too personally.
when one puts up a topic for discussion one should expect both positive and negative views.
You people on this forum are nuts. I',M not the friggin owner, you polaks go ahead and insult each other instead of supporting each other. I'm not even Polish! Pan slavic unity? WTF! No wonder people make fun of Polaks and no wonder Hitler hated you all. You demonstrate that you're retarded inbreds. Too bad Starsky is a Polak store, I'll think twice about shopping there now.

Hold your horses, sister. ALL people you talked to in this thread are foreigners. Not even one is Polish.
But I don't like how you went "Polacks" instantly. Maybe a moment of reflex ion before you type?

I wonder if Hutch is a co-owner.

Just a fair warning to those who would partake. I personally don't want to get somebody elses cold, hepatitis or what ever other transmissible bugs they may have.
Take this bit of advice as a warning or as common sense as it could be applied to any other venue where snacking is permissible.
Take Costco for example... any samples they give out is served in / on one time use paper / plastic cups. Simply for hygeine purposes.
WTF! No wonder people make fun of Polaks and no wonder Hitler
How did Hitler come up in a discussion about the opening of a food store?
I'll think twice about shopping there now.
I bet you double dip with the tooth picks anyway. No great loss.

All that because someone complained about unhygienic toothpicks? lmao!
It's obvious that you aren't really a customer, and the statement above demonstrates your real agenda on here.
Exactly!
From food shopping to Hitler in 11 posts! lol

There are very few poles on this forum, probably no more than 3-4 so relax please.
Sadly you are wrong, but not for the reason these people are going off on you for. Your wrong about the store doing well in Hamilton. I live close by and it has had a lot of traffic coming in and out with those excited people you were refering to that this store is opening. But having visited there the other day, I was very suprised. Most people were only leaving with a hand full of items. Mostly since the place had some good deals but overall its very expensive. Probably due to their poor choice of location in Hamilton. A store like this would have done far better in Hamilton Mountain or Burlington than a economically hurting area of the city.
