What do the Poles hate and love about the U.S.?

Well, it's hard to deny that the reconstruction of Iraq has generated a fair few dollars for American companies. And a war is always good for the economy too, that much is certain. Was it morally right? Dubious. Was it good for America? Certainly. Nothing new there, after all, the UK did plenty of invasions and wars when it suited them ;)

Wars that are funded using surpluses are always good for the economy when you're financing it with surpluses and can plunder the target country in the end. This war was funded with borrowed money...and the plunder isn't looking that great. It was a good idea from a strategic perspective, the execution of the idea was terrible.

We all know that the USA is a police state.

It is controlled by a few.

They are willing to murder their citizens to start war.

Their constitution means nothing.

Their 'left' and 'right' political parties will argue endlessly over issues that are important to the citizens, yet pass bills that steal the peoples freedom faster than a 12.4 litre American Mustang running the 1/4 mile.

Emerson - we also know you just made history by redefining the IQ Bell curve.

They had to rebase it to a much lower starting point... Good job chimp, I mean champ...

We all know that the USA is a police state.

Right. That's why carrying guns is legal in a few states, and why a few states allow you to blast someone dead if they intrude onto your property. Some police state that allows her citizens to bear arms!

It is controlled by a few.

Who would happen to be secret Jewish bankers? Yawn.

They are willing to murder their citizens to start war.

Oh no...please...I cannot stand 9/11 conspiracy theorists!

Their constitution means nothing.

American Civil War, anyone?

(if there's anything worse than the America-Is-Great-Bless-God-And-Guns crowd, it's people who insist that America is some huge conspiracy theory - meanwhile, they ignore the fact that Russia is indeed ran by the few)

I don't have to post this, I'm sure most of the posters have already seen it, but yes, as predicted, you, Delphianedomine, completely dodged my perfectly direct, simple questions. POST #119

Resorting to pointing out a spelling mistake?......dude, I didn't think even YOU could be THAT lame. I mean honestly, is that all you got?

ANSWER THE QUESTIONS WEE MAN.....actually, maybe not. The embarrassment may be too uncomfortable even to read.

And yes, that's me calling you a Nancy.

Nancy.

I refer you to post 117, in which you childishly decided not to answer - perhaps because you aren't informed enough. Doesn't Fox News cover these issues these days?

Resorting to pointing out a spelling mistake?......dude, I didn't think even YOU could be THAT lame. I mean honestly, is that all you got?

I'd be ashamed to publicly call myself a teacher (and to publicly go on about BRINGING THE PAIN TO POLAND) if I made such an elementary mistake. Perhaps you should sort your own house out before complaining about Poland?

ANSWER THE QUESTIONS WEE MAN.....actually, maybe not. The embarrassment may be too uncomfortable even to read.

How about answering post 117 first? :)

What's with the vast amounts of bitter Americans in Poland these days pretending to be teachers? :s

We all know that the USA is a police state.

Yeah, it's just a horrible, horrible place. Worst place on earth, no doubt about it so from now on would every Tom, Jose & Maria that are trying to beat our door down just please go away and find another country to flock too. Stay away from the U.S. It's just a crappy

police state.

RonWest you are right. I can't walk down the street without being asked for my "papers." Wouldn't come here either. If you do, make sure you have your passport, and valid ID on you at all times.

This differs from anywhere else in what way?
Czyryca  1 | 48

In that none of that is true. Americans are voting the people in office, OUT of office right now because they haven't done what we have asked. That is the difference.

See Scott Brown in Massachusetts. Massachusetts is one of the most Liberal states in the US, but we voted a Republican in over a Democrat last month.

As a corporation I can finally buy my very own politician without telling anyone how much I paid. Long live corporate personhood... ;)

Haha interesting comments - thank you for the well placed insults. If I was more intelligent I might have been able to understand them.

America isn't much different from anywhere else. There are huge opportunities in America!

In a poll by NBC, 80% of those surveyed believe that 911 needs to be further investigated.
This isn't a thread for such a discussion.

Flock to America. Although it is a democracy there are many issues that you cannot protest without being arrested.

Nonetheless it is better than most places!

RonWest you are right. I can't walk down the street without being asked for my "papers."

Well, now I have to report you two guys for criticizing the US. You will be reporting to a work camp in upstate NY fairly soon.

Not before FEMA puts you in one of their mass graves, Scrappy ;0 ;)

There are major policing operations on the horizon, Scrappy. Watch this space. You may be a target ;)

I don't disgree. Knowing the history of the corporate charter, I don't think they should be allowed to contribute to any candidate. I also don't believe that my union or any foreigners should be allowed either. Only individual human US citizens. Fair enough?

Can you name them? I cant think of any except for instigating a company boycott of Israel or trade with Cuba and the former is rarely enforced.

Once again, Peanus, your advanced British humour is eluding me. FEMA? Of course the British have so much experience with Hurricane relief? Ahh well skip the explanation.. I have to plan a bombing run on Costa Rica.

I believe less and less of the conspiracy nonsense that goes around. Alex Jones ran a segment on FEMA organising mass graves but it just smacks of lunacy for me. My American friend here has researched it more and he thinks that it's possible and he knows sb in a VERY high place in the US administration.

Yes it is overall.. but was has been pointED out to Iron Balls and others is that the Polish gov probably doesn't want lose all the people they PAID to educate to the US economy. They're in the midst of building a fairly formidable economy themselves. Makes sense, doesn't Iron Balls? No.. you just want to blame everything on the American.

Yes it makes some sense... and is logical unfortunately I don't buy it being, so despised by you an European, because I know those politician's and they just don't think that way!

Haha.. look who's talking. You typically just stamp your foot and yell, "YANKEE PROPAGANDA". That's the only rebuttal you can fashion

scrappnappy it must be the case of mistaken identity, as I don't recognize myself in your magic mirror
,maybe it the same where you look as wise intelligent and smart person?
A little advice my friend, buy yourself real mirror !

As for you Ironside,

tomorrow !
...

You have

I'll expose your selfish motives tomorrow, have a good day.

I think both parties screw us pretty much equally. I tend to vote for grid-lock. The government that spends all its time fighting with itself usually has little time to ruin my day.

Yes, yes.. we know you despise us and curiously want access to our country. ;-( And even more curiously wonder why no one wants you in. ???? I'll let you and your advanced European brain ponder that one.

- also -

Why wouldn't your government WANT to keep you at home.. after it's PAID for your educations?? Yes it seems logical because it is LOGICAL.

work camp in upstate NY fairly soon.

Ill probably see Rip Van Winkle in the Catskills! I think he is still in those camps.

Speaking of Rip Van Winkle, if anyone LOVES Burbon Whiskey, and you can afford it, Pappy's Old Rip Van Winkle 20 year old Burbon is the best tasting Whiskey I have ever had...that is coming from a Scotch guy!

Lake George would be nice

Lake George is beautiful. Was up there this past fall for a wedding. Leaves were turning, bright sunny day. Can't beat that...except for the work camps of course.
