I must say when I was in Canada I was very impressed with the way they keep the street very clean. I was in Ottawa and didn't know if this was all of Canada or just where I was? Great job Canada, it looked great.

Maybe he couldn't. In constraction industry you can earn "good money" and there will be a lot of work to 2012 that's for sure. Of course it isn't UK and USA but home is home and life is less expensive than in UK or Irealand. Emigration stoped there are some reasons.

celinska, yes, canada is very clean.. how do they manage? lol.. they just don't throw stuff on the ground like maericans tend to.

In small vilage, not in big town. It is not possible. Companies "catch" people on streets.

Hey the USA is dirty . People come from all over the world to dirty up the place and throw litter arround because it is not their country. They do it because they see the people here do not care. I live in the country and the people just dump bags of trash on the side of the road. I think I will take it and dump it on the politians front yard! Indian is one of the worst states for being carelessly trashy I have a beautiful place to live , yet I live with the hoosiers and especially the hoosier women! Yuck!

oh, there are dirtier places then indiana man. ky comes to mind oughly quick. :)

KY may be dirty more than Indiana in some of the cities , however , they are exempt because they make important beverges there!! Bourbon comes to mind and then of course the best home distilled in the country

ARe you really going to call the Seagrams plant in Indiana it is more like in "Indytucky". It was built by some moonshiners who got lost and crosssed the river and didn't realize they were in the wrong state.

I think Connecticut is very clean, we do impose very heafty fines for litter and this may help. We also use our prision system to keep the roadways clean. Prisoners love it because they get out and get a taste of their lost freedom back and some fresh air and sunshine. While traveling I was shocked to see in Virginia, people throwing garbage right out car windows in broad daylight. I must have seen this repeated 10 times in one week. It seems as if no one cared and it makes the problem grow as long as there are no fines.

I was just puzzled by your question. Where do you start? Perhaps if you narrowed it down a little then it would be easier to answer.

In general, most people in the USA are like slaves who have food and accomodation (in most cases). The information and news in the US are carefully selected so that no relevant information that could arise anxiety or concern in the society are showed on public channels. This is to prevent a revolution of the unfair system where 95% of people work for the wealth of 5% people. Most Americans care about their own and pretty mundane business - to have food, shelter, sex, TV. They don't need anything more, so the system - which goal is to provide just that - thrives in spite of so many economic and social problems.

In Poland (and Europe in general) the government serves the people. If there is injustice among one group, they go on the streets and fight for their rights and public TV shows everything. In the US - they would put you in jail if you wanted to go on the streets without a special "permit" and the TV would show maybe a few seconds of the demonstrations, with silly or condemning comments.

So the USA is much, much less democratic than average Americans think.

that is true. now the government in the US i think are trying to control everything. next year all broadcast radio and TV will turn to digital. so people have to buy all this new stuff that cost hundreds of $. so now they can control what u watch and listen to through the satellite system.

Currently I am doing business with someone in Poland. Is there anyway I can do a background check on that person? Here in the U.S., we have a social security# for background checks. Is there anything similar in Poland?? If so, once I obtain it is therre a government or private website which I can use for a background check??
