We all know that American continent is full of nature wonders. Which ones were most breath-taking and you advise to visit. Which ones are nothing special? If you were to choose 7 must-see places, what would they be?

in no particular order:

New York - two extremes: Manhattan and Montauk beaches
Miami - Calle Ocho and SOBE Art Deco district
Pacific Coast Hwy - I didn't pay too much attention to the map during that drive, but it had some breathtaking vistas
Colorado, Rockies, etc
Grand Canyon, Sedona etc
Vermont in the fall

When did that become a National Park?
I used to live in Miami, maybe you meant The Everglades National Park?
You can go on cool air boat ride in the swamps and chase Gators...lol

New York - two extremes: Manhattan and Montauk beaches

I`d blow NYC off and head up to Lake Placid National Park, Upstate N.Y. in the Adirondack Mtns.
Its really beautiful and away from the scummy city, unbelievable what a few hundred miles can do:)

Pacific Coast Hwy

Colorado, Rockies, etc
Grand Canyon, Sedona

All nice places mentioned above

Yellowstone Nat. Pk
Joshua Tree Nat. PK
The Great Smokey Mountains Nat.Pk
Crater Lake Nat.Pk in Oregon is one of my favorites!

Zetigrek, Ive been to all the parks mentioned above and they all are good.
There are many more that I havent been too or cant think of now.

Niagara Falls, US/Canada, good for a one day trip!
Starved Rock, IL,,, now Im getting into State Parks lol

lay off, sledz. I was replying to the last sentence, when scope was widened to "places".

lay off, sledz.

I was just joking around:)
I love all of Florida!!

all of them if you like nature.

If youre into camping then you will have a better time!

I want to cross off Yellowstone because of the huge crowds, otherwise its probably up there with the Grand Canyon and Valley of Fire:)

Which ones were most breath-taking and you advise to visit.

If your time is limited, stick to the Lower 48 west coast. From North to South:

Olympic National Park
Mt. St. Helens
Columbia River Gorge
Crater Lake
Redwoods National Park
San Francisco
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Big Sur
Death Valley
Disneyland/ California Adventure in Anaheim

And of course, a million other breathtaking places around the USA.

I'd include Glacier National Park in Montana. Stunning place and you get to drive down the Going to the Sun Road too.

all of them if you like nature.

If I ever, hypothetically, do a dream trip to the USA, I probably wouldn't be able to see all of them that's why I ask about your opinions :)

And by "places" I meant nature wonders not urban monuments. But alright if something is definitely unique and worth of compassing half of the world, then go ahead :)

Certainly if I ever come to USA then I would like to travel through states like: Utah, Nevada, Arizona - since those kind of landscapes are most appealing to me

Yellowstone! And quick, before the super-volcano erupts and wipes out the human race...
