back in the promised land. 25 degrees every day, every single day. wait, let me correct that, it doesn't dip below 25. there we go. it hits 40 before noon. ac is working overtime. had some great "yellow snow ipa" from rogue, and polished off the night with some boulevard "double wide ipa" and "harvest dance" wheat wine. brisket is in the smoker, the sprinkler has been prepositioned, and the fridge is full of beer. should be another interesting evening :)

first impressions are the same as last time. people seem to be blinker phobic. police are much much more noticeable. the beer is much better. service comes with a smile :) you can still buy a pack of socks from walmart for $3.

It's been a hot one in Okiefonokie this year. Yeah, Boulevard is nice but I've been buying "Fat Tire" lately.

It's already been one long year. Poland, I miss you like crazy :(

Beckski, why don't you move back?

Can't do it. I'm an American citizen. I work and own my home in the United States. Most of my immediate family members live here too. Being a a California girl, don't know if I'd survive even one cold winter in Poland. However, I wouldn't mind returning sometime in the near future, for a visit to beautiful Poland, along with my wonderful family members living there.

back in the promised land.

Not so much "promised" not to mention "milk and honey" lately to be honest.

Bernanke has it right, you can't fix the debt without fixing the economy first.

Hey Grubas you unemployed, where do you live that the economy is so bad?

Millsboro DE,and it's ******* bad here dude,I kidd you not. Some time ago they opened a casino nearby and were hiring 100 or so workers, guess what dude, over 2000 showed up for interviews. Will you belive that? And they pay like $8.50/h,this is roughly 60% of what I used to make not to mention take home work truck, gas card, phone and freedom because nobody was watching me on the job.Heh, 2 weeks ago they were hiring in a food processing plant,so I went there thinking "Ok, if they pay $10/h I will do it".First thing I did I asked the guy conducting interviews what do they pay.He told me $7.25/h.I told him "Sir,you can't be serious".He said he is serious.Dude,I can't afford to work for this kind of money! I got to get the hell out of here because winter is coming and it sure won't get any better.I don't know where to go yet,so I will probably go to Poland for a couple of months just to chill and to decide what to do.

CP, he and Greenspan made a complete hash of it in the first place. How could the relevant authorities have let $2.3trillion go unaccounted for? Geez, a Scot would notice $1 misplaced in a budget ;0 :)

Grubas, how can you suddenly find the money to come to Poland yet not be able to go to work?

Work is in the oil states right now: Wyoming, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Montana, etc. (jobsnd.com/job-fairs)

Seanus, it's accounted for. They released the list. A few in Europe. But the economy drives the debt.

Grubas stop dreaming, and you think you will be able to find work in Poland, how are you going to pay your bills if your not working, or are you a guy on welfare???
