I would refer to the London riots for starters.

Most of them looked like white chavs to me. Perhaps I need new glasses.

Any source for that?

Could it possibly have been one of the other fat useless losers at last week's BNP meeting?

Statistics can be manipulated by those in power to present a totally different picture of the reality and as usual the clues to such manipulation are in the use of words.

Any source for that?

so much for the source.

True, and they can also be manipulated by others.

You need to read my own post LK 'Why do Poles think they are wanted' etc.

I did. No response there to the actual figure I gave you (based mainly on Worker Registration Scheme / Home Office sources, not "think tank with a hidden agenda").

Thousands of young British guys died in needless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

577.

Errm - should I have been eligible for Polish NHS care, which saved my life? And should one of my children have received expensive treatment? I pay my contributions ...

I'm not saying that all Polish people live off benefits but many do

How do you know that ? and what's "many" ? MANY doesn't mean anything and "many" is a number between "few" and "too much"

We have a catastrophic problem here brought about by lazy, inept politicians.

And thank god there are undereducated beers sacks like you ready to save the country from all those hard working overeducated barbarian hordes.

Poles don't behave like French, German etc. They act like 3rd world refugees and have no concept of Western culture. it's acutely embarrassing to be labelled Caucasian alongside them. No dignity.

LOL.
Bitterness,pure and simple.
I think we all know the direction England is heading and its down down deeper and down.
YOur country and your empire is going down the shitter at a rate of knots.

What goes around comes around sweetheart.

Right, I'm not being funny - but this is a subject that really boils my blood.

Australia is Australian, Germany is German, Canada is Canadian, Britain is BRITISH!!

This earth is a collection of nations, no one giant nation which everyone can happily swap and choose where to stay forever, for whatever reason.

We have our own borders, governments, culture, history, pride and sense of national preservation. Every country does.

Why on earth should every single Polish (or any other nationality) person just be allowed to live in this country without any significant benefit to us.

The concept of immigration is to make sure our country benefits from it and not becomes the Samaritan crackhouse for eastern Europe.

This country DOES NOT benefit from the current eastern European immigration situation. I have nothing against Polish people, don't get me wrong, but every country has it's "undesirable" groups of people.

Unfortunately I see more of these people than I do professionals; doctors, scientists, company investors and generally anyone with a degree and good social standing.

Where I live, all I see are Polish people walking around the town with cans of beer in their hand or screaming at their insubordinate children.

I was made redundant 2 years ago, I claimed housing benefit and job seekers allowance for 5 months (all of which came out of my national insurance, about 15years worth). Every time I visited the job center, it was easily 80% Polish people going there on "claim day". They weren't in there looking for jobs, I watched, they were sitting down and having the same interview I was having, to make sure they get their money from our government.

If you have nothing to give to this country, you shouldn't be here. Nor should you be here to work and export our GDP back to Poland. What right do you have to come to another sovereign nation, refuse to work, and take money from the taxpayer.

There are over half a million polish people living in England & Wales, this number is excessive, considering this number was only 55,000 in 2001.

Like I say, I like Polish people, I have known a few who are very nice. But all I hear about is polish related crimes in my area and polish people not working.

You wouldn't like us to send all of our scumbags to your country would you? No, of course not! There are not enough polish people over here who deserve a life here.

Why on earth should every single Polish (or any other nationality) person just be allowed to live in this country without any significant benefit to us.

Well I'm going to answer you, because I'm sick and tied of people popping up on this forum and asking those frigidly stupid questions. Is it so difficult to figure it out for yourself? If you cannot find the answer to such simple qestion what on Earth makes you thing that all those foreigners allowed to live in your country are not benefiting anyone?

I mean you are not benefiting from them being here and your imminent circle don't benefit from them either but how do you know that nobody gains from them being here. I think it is pretty obvious that SOME people do benefit from all those Eastern Europeans (not to mention their nationality).

As for why:
Because the British government choose to pursue such and such policy.

the Samaritan crackhouse for eastern Europe.

what do you mean by that?

This country DOES NOT benefit from the current eastern European immigration situation.

Whom do you have in mind when you say this country? If you mean that it is not in your country interest than I wouldn't know.

What make you think that you are right? I think that the answer to that qestion is more complex than few simple observation and articles in the press can provide.

Every time I visited the job center, it was easily 80% Polish people going there on "claim day".

How would you know they are all Polish?Do you speak the lingo?

If you have nothing to give to this country, you shouldn't be here. Nor should you be here to work and export our GDP back to Poland. What right do you have to come to another sovereign nation, refuse to work, and take money from the taxpayer.

The right granted to them by your government.

But all I hear about is polish related crimes

come on?

You wouldn't like us to send all of our scumbags

come on? are you telling us that majority of Poles in the UK are scumbags?

Like I say, I like Polish people, I have known a few who are very nice

Really?-

Nor should you be here to work and export our GDP back to Poland.

I think you shouldn't looking for a scapegoat to blame. Poles are not responsible for your frustrations, misfortunes and fears.
By the way not many Poles are posting on this forum.

The Romanians and Bulgarians will be coming for their piece of the pie next year.

Yet another wave of needy beggers, losers, scroungers and single mothers all heading west.
They're even poorer than Poland!

Expect this bunch to have the same bunch of nationalistic, patriotic traits that the Poles have.

Romanian Sklep popping up everywhere with their wonderful tinned fish paste and pickled cabbage they can't live without :)

Having read the many post here are my observations.

If these facts are true the benefit system is to blame, I am 60+ now living in Poland on a small private pension (£500 a month)

I could no longer afford to live in England after working all my life then being made redundant the only benefit I received was the "job seekers allowance" of around £60 a week for 6 months.

The 12 months before I left the UK (South Yorkshire) the only work I could find was short term agency work and I was mostly working with Poles (all hard working compared to the Brits.), I speak Polish and have not met these Polish scroungers, but I have met plenty of English scroungers who have never worked a day in their life, abuse the system, and will still receive a pension (Gordon Brown has most of mine!!).

As far as I know it is not that easy to get a council house, in most areas there are long waiting lists.

The UK benefit needs sorting out, there are no benefits for people who have worked all their life, bought a house and have a very small income, I have no problem with people using the system, I only wish I could have got some financial help!!!

Please no rants or name calling I am only stating facts!!!

P.S. Health and losing my job caused my marriage to break up, my wife has the house, I used my redundancy money to pay mortgage etc. luckily I have found a Polish woman who has given me a roof over my head.

Very interesting story Bikerjenko, I happy that you found your place in Poland. The other thing interesting me is how do you speak Polish?

The problem I have with the poles is that at my workplace, I know most of the workforce is polish.
Many Many of you are nice to us english people on the face of it, but I only have to come to this forum to see the truth of the matter

I see people leaving England to go back to Poland for driving lessons, essentially taking money from our system and putting it into polands system, which is going to cause this country to meltdown, then there wont be any jobs for any of us.

There seems to be an unwillingness to learn the english language too, and I feel like I am no longer in my own country, because I spend most of my time at work, it is like being in another country, and thats simply not right. its down to the poles as immigrants to learn our language before they come.

The MOST concerning part however is the money situation and how alot of our money seems to exit our system and I worry that is whats causing our recession to last forever.

These are facts as well, so I'm not trying to be mean,
I only express my worries in the hopes I can understand why you
a) import polish goods into our stores there fore sending profit to the polish companies and not english companies
b) why many of you have not a willingness to learn our language (which should of been done before deciding to immigrate)

i

sorry for the double post, I just want to clarify I'm not against you guys (poles) at all though it may sound like it, I just have worries about my country, and my own identity.

import polish goods into our stores there fore sending profit to the polish companies and not english companies

Who do you think owns those companies? Look on the labels the next time you're in a Polish shop. You may well find that many of the products come from UK-owned companies like Unilever.

b) why many of you have not a willingness to learn our language (which should of been done before deciding to immigrate)

300 language schools in Warsaw and thousands round the country suggests that people are very willing to learn English.

and my own identity

Why would somebody else's identity affect yours?

I just have worries about my country, and my own identity.

if you are uncertain about your identity, have a word with your mum and dad,; personally I don't give a toss
who else is here, it doesn't change where i was born or my passport status, does it?

it will change the fabric of british society and my identity if Immigration does not stop, now, it already has been let to get too far out of hand. I knew I'd be attacked for my views but I want to know why.

No, well... then Polish people are just being plain rude if they continue to talk in the workplace in polish, as this is england, I'm afraid.

I will leave this forum now, as I know that I'm not going to get any sensible, or at least, any answers that are not negative towards my country, or my view, which may seem xenophobic but I just can't help but see the major problems arising from the mass exodus from poland to england.

again, I can only assume that the man who is learning to drive with money earnt here, but flying back to poland for lessons, has short term plans here, unless it is just a way to get a cheap EU license, which is more likely.

its a shame we were so liberal

The fabric of society is constantly changing, unless you live in Brigadoon or Shangri-La. I don't see how your own identity would be affected by others unless your identity is very flimsy indeed.
youyouyou  - | 8
4 Mar 2013 /  #115
why does someone else identity affect mine? because there are so many poles that seem to refuse to want to even bond or integrate with us english folk, at work no-one speaks english, (figuratively speaking) and in my honest opinion It should be compulsory to speak english fluently before arriving to work here, at work it is extremely difficult to carry out tasks accordingly because of the alienation brit workers feel when working with poles. and the fact is, we're not all lazy *****, some of us actually want to make a go of our lives, its frustrating that I do not know what is being said and communicated at work

And yes, when you go to work 48-60 hours a week within a factory filled with polish migrants, then it does effect people

I did not mean any offense, as I only want was is best for the entire world, rather than just my country. but my country is the place I have to live, and I have expressed my concerns, thats all I can do.

Genuinely hope everyones having a good day.

I AGREE that the fabric of society is changing, but such a major change of numbers in less than ten years is having a knock on effect

again I'm sorry if I seem to be prejudice, I am not, I think what the poles did in ww2 was absolutely heroic, and won't ever forget that in my lifetime, not to mention how else our people work together out of the immigration side of things.

That doesn't really affect your identity, does it. If you don't like the culture in your workplace, change jobs.
youyouyou  - | 8
4 Mar 2013 /  #117
That is the frustrating problem jon357, because there are so many new migrants entering, I as a british citizen am finding it extremely difficult to change jobs, as much unskilled work is going to migrants, I shouldn't have to change jobs because I feel like I'm being pushed aside in my own country, but I am looking, every single day. not one decent job lines up for english folk, only part time work or under 30 hours, which is something I Cannot do as I have things to pay for. -

Please just understand my frustration, I beg you guys. I don't want to offend anyone.
jon357  73 | 23112
4 Mar 2013 /  #118
It isn't the fault of those Poles who go to work in the UK, nor is it the fault of the government who allowed migration in order to fill all the vacancies that the Poles got.

Now if they all suddenly went home there really would be problems.
youyouyou  - | 8
4 Mar 2013 /  #119
I agree with that jon357, you're right it would cause us to meltdown to probably even Greeces' level. I am not placing blame here I just wish to understand why some quite obviously have no interest in learning our language or adopting our culture, infact its quite the opposite. and at least, at my place... seems to be 95% of the workforce.

it does not bother me in the long run, only that I wish to change jobs more than anything, because I find it very distressing working where I work at the moment. (For more reasons than just not being able to understand whats going on)
jon357  73 | 23112

It probably happens more in reverse. Of the several thousand Brits living in Polish cities surprisingly few have assimilated. Some don't even speak the language after 20 years here.
