Poles in the UK not a problem as far as i can tell

So ive been back almost three months and i was worried about UK racism against Polish people. Seeing as this forum has been my main connection for all those years i lived in Poland it wasnt surprising that i might be worried having a Polish wife and all.

As far as i can tell Poles in the UK have assimilated very well, i was at the car boot sale this morning and theres always loads down there along with the dregs of Southern UK society of course.

Polish people are every where, i was at the playground the other day with my daughter and a Polish guy comes in with his little ones, we had a nice chat, They are always very surprised when i tell them i lived in Poland for over 5 years and then speak Polish to them.

I like Polish people being around, you cant live in a country for so long without feeling some kind of association.

Bardzo dziekuje to all the Polish shops too, Tyskie at £1 a can.

Of course. I am still staying in Poland, that is why I am saving UK a hell of a problem.

Yeah, Poles who have been in Britain have been such a problem. like Joseph Conrad, Iga Wywral,Stanisław Maczek, Jozef Kosacki,Henryk Zygalski,Marian Rejewski, Jack Szostak & Władysław Świątecki.

They bloody have, the job they made of my cavity insulation was shocking! Stuffing swan feathers instead of cladding,savages!

Thats a good price my local Polski sklep has put it up to £1.10.Still cheaper than Asda at £1.65 a go.

There havent been any really, its virtually all positive. Poland just wasn't working for us anymore on so many levels.


I'm central, the car boot attracts all types of people i just have real issues with scum bag people. You know the loud obnoxious types, who should need licenses for children.

I've only met great polish people SO FAR.

There is a polish girl/lady (maybe aged 24-27 tops) at work at the moment and she is the sweetest person you could ever dream of meeting, so lovely.

Take people as you find them regardles of what town/country they are from.

I'd like to come back to this one actually after ive been giving it some more thought. There has been three main adjustments for us.

1. People, we lived in a large house in Poland with lots of land and really didnt see anybody if we didnt want to. In the UK its a lot more personal, i see people all the time we have a neighbor who's an OK guy but a little annoying. He sometimes pokes his nose over the fence of our back garden for a chat. That's all well and good most of the time but sometimes we want our privacy. Every time i step out side of my front door theres people everywhere and you can feel people watching you.

2. Food, at first its take away heaven what with all the great curry houses, fish n chip shops and all the rest of it but cant live off that stuff so its down to Asda or Tesco's. The food is very well priced in most cases, the ham is terrible and the meat no where near as good as in Poland. Ironically like all Poles who come to the UK im in the same boat with regard to bread. The sliced bread is good for toast but as a sandwich its friggen vile, tastes like chemicals, and just lasts unnaturally long. Even the fresh bakers bread and rolls are bland. On the plus side theres plenty of Polish shops around so you can buy everything you could in Poland and its not much more expensive even bread, cakes and doughnuts.

3. Attitude, people have attitude here. Its almost like i could get into a fight every time i walk out the front door. Some dude drove past me the other day and called me a twat really loud because he thought i didnt give him right of way, made my blood boil. If i didnt have my wife and child in the car i would have chased that fat bastad and taught him a lesson. Again the other day just walking up the road three scum bags drinking Stella started shouting at me for no reason. Two days later three guys fitting the same description robbed a paki shop at knife point. Its much, much more dangerous here. Don't get me wrong in general people are more friendly here and strangers are always up for a laugh. But i felt much more secure in Poland.

My wife claims people are rude to her once they realize she's foreign and i can believe that.

I probably should mention all the fat people too, they are everywhere. Its really difficult to spot a fit looking 35+ year old woman.


The pubs a big bonus and the social side that comes with it.

I'd like to say golf but ive only played once and i was slamming that little white ball all over the place, went round 18 in about 110. Need to sort that out. The gym is a massive bonus for me, i had one in Poland but never used it that much through lack of motivation.

Works pretty good too, i have a decent job which i enjoy doing.

maybe,but,even in just the last couple of years people have seemed to get just a little ruder in general,more "me me me" focused.....sad,but hopefully just a blip down to the economy thing.

Either way, I think his rather tired arguments about British workers being lazy and not turning up for work etc are a bit unfair. Yes some are lazy, but many are not.

What more can be said? Some are thoroughly decent and some are problematic. The UK has far more pressing concerns and worries, that's for sure.

These arsewipes are a god damn problem. Before long, the United Kingdom will belong to Poland. In a way, these Polish inhuman immigrants are terrorists, but without the bombs. They come to our country, invade the streets, take our jobs, take our money, send it back to their own godforsaken country, etc. I could go on for a loooooooooong time, but I'm not going to.

To all Polish people out there: I bet you're sick of us telling you to go back to your own country, but you do have to realize that you are terrorizing our country. My friend's dad was going to apply for a job as a plumber, but some Polish bastard stole the job. Please, this is racist, but go back to your own country! Sure, Britain is a lovely place to go, I mean, who wouldn't want to come here? But in years to come, once all of Poland has immigrated here, Britain will be a horrible place. Then you'll move on. To America, to Australia, anywhere. Then in about 50 years' time, you'll move on from there. You'll be on the 'Polish Takeover World Tour'. Please, do us all a favour. Britain is a hollow shell of it's former self, thanks to you. If all of Britain moved over to your country, your government would kick us out. But our government are laid back. Too much. We let you come to our country, get jobs, all of that. But you found us vulnerable then. Because we let Poles in, doesn't mean all of your god damn country can invade this place!
