Why are Poles in the UK complaining of racism when you are racist?

I can't imagine myself in a relationship with a woman from a different race - that probably makes me a racist too :P

and how the people who - very often -after years of staying in other country can barely speak its language COULDN'T BE RACIST ?
how the people who NEVER left Europe to live in other countries, COULDN'T BE RACIST ?
how the people who take all info on world from mass media, COULDNT BE RACIST ?
how the people from a country that its 97% ethnically and religiously homogenic, COULDNT BE RACIST ?
how the people who - very often - live in their own ghettos while not doing monkey jobs in nearest fabriques, COULDNT BE RACIST ?
but of course - not all of us are like this.
the other thing is.... you may become racist after living in foreign ghetto for over years, because of the culture shock (ie: British dude living among only voodoo believing Haitians).

Some are racist no doubt but majority who think that hold onto the notion that in Europe them as Europeans take precedence over some Asian immigrants into Europe even if they're second or third generation.

If that is racist then black people in Africa (SA) are racist too. The some goes for Japanese. Not sure about Asians but I suspect the majority is much of the same mind on the issue.

This is a ridiculous thread. Prejudice exists across all nationalities, across all races. Some have most certainly had it harder than others but to attribute negative attitudes to an entire group based on where they're from, what they believe in, who they love and the colour of their skin is crass and serves only to perpetuate the problem. My Polish friends here in the UK are amazing, wonderful warm people who share the same or similar values to myself. I can say the same of my Belgian, French, Czech, English, Scottish, Irish, Romanian, German, New Zealand, Spanish, Portuguese (and any others I've missed out) friends. If you dismiss a nation of people based on your experiences of a few then you are robbing yourself of the opportunity to make life-long friends and an open-access to a world of different cultures.

I don't have a clue why this thread is here either, I can only think it is to incite and provide a platform for those who wish to flame, incite and argue.

Maybe its a dumping ground that the moderators use for venting brexiteers.

Thus far, France, the UK, and several other countries have expressly banned the veil or "kijab" in public, typically worn by a majority of Muslim women. Now, Germany's Angela Merkel has joined the bandwagon and decided that she too will forbid it in public, "...only in as far as legal limits will permit." Perhaps the far-right are applauding, yet this has raised a whole new set of fears:-)

Will Poland follow suit?

That's one of the most accurate statements ever, we all have our prejudices be they about race, religion, skin colour or gender. Most races/ethnicities have been subject to slavery but also been slavers too all we can do is try and educate our children not to do these things. It will a long time before prejudice dies out, if ever!!!! Some people seem to thrive on being victims anyway and see 'racism' in every word and action.
