The Scottish census was published today. 55, 000 ( of those who responded ) were born in Poland.

The world is changing and national barriers are being broken down. There are some interesting ideas about how people will identify themselves in the future.

Yes, I'm hoping Europe in general will be much more multicultural in the future with non-European identities. When I see a happy couple consisting of a black African man holding hands with his pregnant white Polish or British wife, I envision a future of peace.

In the UK, Scotland included for now at least, nobody thinks about stuff like that nowadays, do they? Plenty of couples have different skin colours and the world didn't end.

I would have to disagree with you there. Some are happy about it, some don't think anything about it, and some racists will get mad about it.


But some Europeans do think it will end. And this mentality was more common not that long ago hence why interracial couples back then weren't as common. That's why I'm saying it's a sign of peace when more interracial couples are around...an end to hatred.

Mass immigration has a pattern: immigrants take over cities, example London, Brussels, Paris, Berlin and natives are pushed to outside rural areas.
