How to find a job in the UK coming from Poland?

Hi,
how should I to find a job, living in PL. I'm looking for a job as a energy engineer (power station, project manager, etc.. )

I think if you are looking for a job in the UK you should come over with a pile of CVs and be prepared financially to spend some time looking.

No company will be interested if you cannot come for an interview at short notice.

It's not so easy, to be in place.
I need to keep continuity of employment for financial reasons.
Any others ideas ?

well look online obviously, google companies, send your CV with a good covering letter.
make sure your CV and letter has been proofread before you send it.
Sorry but if you need to ask people how to look for a job then I do not think working in a different country would be for you.

LinkedIn is a good idea. Also if the OP's skills are sufficiently professional and his career is sufficiently advanced, it might be worth registering with headhunters; although they generally can find a good pool of people without looking in Poland, unless of course the person they want has skills not found closer to home.

I would say it is mission (almost) impossible. My friend found a job this way but it was in 2006 and work agency was involved.
He is talented carpenter and carpenters in the UK are equal gods.

I'm electronics technician unfortunately. I was looking for a job for a six months but unsuccesful. When appeared in the UK I have found a job in two days.
